On Friday, Sarah Palin tweeted/Facebooked a picture of herself and her husband in a Chick-fil-A looking so ucking happy. They're way happier than the oldest gay couple in America on their wedding day. Sarah and Todd are beaming hateful joy. It's really visceral.
"Stopped by Chick-fil-A in The Woodlands to support a great business," is the caption.
Palin also posted a picture of herself with the Sassy Feet Dance Squad in that same Texas location, which just seems like even more of a slap in the face because if a gay man didn't come up with that name, it at least is one that seems tailored to appeal to gays. The Sassy Feet Dance Squad giveth and taketh.Palin's visit and subsequent posting of her photos is just a way to say, "Homosexuals, I hate you," without saying, "Homosexuals, I hate you." I'd call it "innovative," except it's the same thing Rick Santorum did when hetweeted about his visit to the chain, the same thing Mike Huckabee did when he called for a Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day. These are gentle jabs of hatred, ways of being completely cowardly about offensiveness. Palin's pictures are perfect relics of the modern bigot: the kind of person who bristles at being called a bigot while spouting bigotry, who expresses her shame alongside the outward expression of shamelessness because she knows, deep down, that subjugation of human life is fucked up.
A chickenshi move in a chicken eatery, this is social cannibalism.

For Sure+47It does seem like she took a paige from the Left.
Which means not just disliking or hating something, but going on Talking Head Shows and Photo Shoots to publicize the object of hate.
Seems fair to me.

I was delighted to see she's expanded her 3 facial expressions (righteous indignation, hate-mongering, faux patriotism) into what appears to be the actual light of intelligence in her eyes- maybe she's started reading! (everything,of course).
It sort of scared me a little- but then I saw the reflection of the TV in her glasses, and was comforted again.
I hold the belief that marriage is between one man& woman. I think govco should get the hell out of the marriage business. All couples should have a legal union, and be treated absolutely the same no matter what gender.
Marriage should stay within the church's realm.
I'll march shoulder to shoulder with any GLBT activist to get things changed, and equal rights in the eyes of all .

Instead of setting out to redefine marriage...GLBTs need to use their money, and energy in a movement to change the system.
I'll be with them...legal contractual unions for all couples. Leave traditional marriage to the churches.
If it is about having the same legal rights under the law as they claim...then this is a simple answer.

Chick-Fil-A Controvery
VAN JONES: This became not an issue about marriage equality, it became an issue about free speech, and appropriately so. Once the mayor stepped in, I think it was a huge mistake, because once the mayor stepped in and said we’re going to use the power of the government to punish people because they have a different opinion, then the entire country had to stand against that kind of abuse of authority. However, I think, citizen boycotts of Chick-fil-a or any other company that you do not agree with, that’s appropriate. Citizen boycotts are appropriate. Government stepping in, not appropriate.
IMHO...boycotts , and buycotts are one the purest forms of free-market political protest.
I support all lawful non violent... non disruptive protest.
Feel free to exercise your rights...this is America for all...not just for the liberal left.
