My wife is very happy with our non-traditional marriage where I treat her as an equal, discuss major decisions on parenting, finance, etc.

As someone who has had plenty of anal sex and if you speak to any gay man ummm you have no clue what your talking about number one.....number two anyone with any basic sexual education would know gay or straight you can catch HIV or any other STD's if you don't use protection. Finally number three Ron Paul is a failure who won't come close to be elected into office EVER he didn't do it in 2008 and couldn't do it in 2012....and your Canadian your whole country allows gay marriage, and who ever is president of the United States has no effect on you haha.

Its not Biblical times, homosexualty is a part of the world's reality. Its not wrong or riight, there are so many hetros married for reasons worse than homosexuality, let them marry sheesh its not like they request an audience in the bedroom they just want the same recognition and be able to have the same benefits (insurance, tax cuts blahblah)

Naturally it should be legal, then gay alimony, gay divorce, gay separation agreements, gay Prenuptials etc. Why should we straights be the only ones in court?

Anyone should be able to marry who are two consenting adults.

its all the same, all it is , is showing their love for one another. i just don't understand why its such a big problem for other people, it has no effect on you, and if you don't like to see them then don't stare at the two men or women holding hands, go on with your life. obviously the gay, lesbian, bisexual,homosexual, and even some strait people have learned to go on and have fun in life. people who are against them should do the same. i just wanna say that i'm a strong supporter for everyone in their life choices, and who they were born to be, it dose not effect me one bit that they want mirage, i find it to be sweet and just another cupple walking down the street, and i feel that everyone should see it that way too. Where the declaration of independence states that all men are created equal, the literal interpretation of that is obviously false. What it means is that all men are to be treated equally under the law, which means all men and women should have the same right to marry whoever they want.

That said, marriage is defined by the bible, or whatever writings define a religion, and the 1st amendment prohibits the creation of laws with respect to religion. Hence there should be no marriage law and the government shouldn't be rewarding anyone for it.

My question isn’t should people who are heterosexual, homosexual or bisexual be allowed or denied marriage; but why is the government even involved in the process to begin with?

The sacrament of marriage was made for the norm /man/woman! The american government is sopose to hold up the moral standard of such!

Marriage was requested by homosexuals for their taxes to be reduced, as they pay less taxes then if single! And thats the jist of it!
