Got to 102 - Nasty. Staying inside and watching a movie. My poor dog goes outside and limits his time to about 1 minute. He's bitter as well about this heat.
I'm wondering what September is going to be like here. It's usually the hottest month.

I know, the beach is usually nice in Aug and on the warm side in Sept and Oct, but it's been awfully hot at the beach lately. The Ventura county fair is going on now, and last night when I drove by on the way home, the parking lots were nearly empty. Just too hot, people are staying in.

We're going to Zuma soon - just for a break. We thought about Santa Barbara but not sure if we want to spend. Brophey Brothers Seafood is one of my favorite restaurants on the pier!

Have you seen the baby giraffe at the Santa Barbara zoo? He is so funny, and full of energy. The bigger ones seem to just tolerate him as he always wants them to play with him.
And Moby Dicks on Sterns wharf has super good fish and chips. Last time I was out there, we watched a whale playing and breaching.

Thats funny because without tax cheats and hypocrisy , not to mention failed
policies, the liberal progressive dimocrat party would cease to be ...except for
