1) The 16,000 families in New Jersey earning more than $1 million will get an average tax break of $40,000 apiece under Christie's budget. That's $640 million in lost revenue. How many jobs have they created? At the same time, a single mom working for minimum wage will pay $300 more in state taxes. And consider these other facts about New Jersey since Christie has been governor:
2) New Jersey ranked 47th in the nation in GDP growth in 2011. [Bureau of Economic Analysis]
3) The Garden state’s unemployment rate of 9.8 percent is fourth highest in the nation, trailing only Nevada, California, and Rhode Island. [Bureau of Labor Statistics, and in spite of giving $640 million more to the rich]
4) New Jersey lost 12,000 jobs last month, the most in the country. [Bureau of Labor Statistics]
5) The state ranked 44th in personal income growth in 2011. [Bureau of Economic Analysis]

I worked in New Jersey on and off for years. I can't see how anyone can afford to live there, taxes on a small home is 10k a year. Christy took a liberal bankrupt state and began fixing the liberal disaster. He will easily be re elected.

The only real success the repugs have ever had is to get their followers to vote against their own self-interests. And NJ is still at the bottom of the list in income, growth and unemployment.

A good leader has to have common sense, wisdom, and know when to lead and when the People can and should manage their own lives. I watched both he and Ann's speech and found both to be very moving.
Ironically I can relate to Romney in many ways....there is only 2 and a half years difference in our ages, he and I were both born in the same city and the same hospital.
Growing up in the 1960's I lived in a one bedroom apartment on Vernor Avenue and can remember some pretty hot nights in that apartment. We both busted our butts to get where we are at now....only difference is he moved on to become a Presidential Candidate and I became retired and living off my pension and SS. Funny thing is his family and my family, we don't know each other, know the same people there in Detroit, but my family contributed to his father Georges campaign for Governor of Michigan.
