'the come back team'....I like that.

President Mitt Romney and Vice President Paul Ryan...the come-back team. They believe in America and so do we.
USA ALL THE WAY with ROMNEY AND RYAN.

I think that Ryan is the SAFE choice the GOP electorate feared he would choose.
He was chosen primarily because he is from Wisconsin and for his budget work...
to me his talents will now be less useful as VP...

IMHO he would have been better as a Cabinet member, or SPEAKER...as speaker for example, he could have been the member who brought all the policies (Romney chose him for) to the floor...now he is just a figure head.

He will now be fodder for the Dems, as a gun toting hunter (killer) anti-abortion family man etc etc., and he will be Palinized, just as they attacked him when he produced his "budget"...

I predict that now Obama will now toss Biden to the curb....excite his base by having Clinton (his keynote speaker) introduce Billary as his new running mate at the DEM convention.

I believe Condaleeza Rice is the person Romney should have chosen.
    (IMHO) she was untouchable...

Romney had a chance to make HIS ticket historic as well as exciting...by choosing a very very intelligent minority woman, with impeccable international experience...instead he chose the SAFE boring white guy that the neither excites voters or scares the opposition...
they could not attack her on race, gender, intelligence or INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE, without being retorted as hypocrites ...

they could not attack her on race, gender, intelligence or INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE, without being retorted as hypocrites at every turn, even IF Billary were added to the Obama ticket.

Instead....Obama if he does put Billary on his ticket...HE will AGAIN have the historic and exciting ticket along with experience to bring out his base again...

Having Condi on the Romney ticket would have at least dented the HUGE LEADS Obama holds in ALL those demographics...and now all those demographics are gone to the GOP.

This is or was a game of chess right now... a game of moves....and I don't think that Romney helped himself today.

Christy might have been cool but i doubt he would have accepted the spot as for Ryan i don't know a whole hell of a lot about the guy but i have a feeling it was designed more to consolidate the far right base and a few things i am seeing about him already are making me wonder if i will end up proverbially just flipping a coin this election cycle.

As for those that are about to tell me if i am not voting for Romney/Ryan to just stay home well i can promise you this, that is the one thing i won't be doing this election.

Obama has done his best, He says he is 24/7 365 focus like a laser on employment. unemployment is still over 8% . He did his best, can't ask more of him, there are only 24 hours in a day, and 7 days in a week, and only every 4 years do we have more then 265 days in a year. so, there is no hope from him. only more blame and excuses,

result get my attention , blamers and excuse makers I send away.

bye bye Obama I wish you well in your next carreer begining next year . Obama green investment firm. it will be hard to find investors with his record, but there are still those with that obama thrill between thier legs, maybe they will invest?

so you are saying Obie is a slacker ? well he does work in government in fact that is the only job he has had, I agree he is a slacker but I really think he had more favors to pay back, and he just did not make it. So even his doners are upset. they wanted thier hundreds of millions of our money so they could give him a mill back, poor Obie, bless his little heart, I think he tried, but with his ideas that = failure what is a mother to do.

He fails all of the time, it is called a loser.

My husband and I held that sentiment when we voted our conscience and voted for ross perot. That is how clinton got in the first time. Conscience and politics? We can't deal with politics and have a conscience. Well, not until we get our third party in the mix. So I have to say ABO and USA ALL THE WAY with romney and ryan.

Yeah and McCain was too old, hey guess what he still isn't dead.

Sarah Palin was too stupid and Ryan brings to much baggage and if you doubt the part about Ryan just read the news this morning, Obama had nothing to attack Romney on hence the Bain and Tax claims but this morning all the white houses attention is focused on Ryan he and his policy's are apparently to blame for everything in America or so says the Obama Administration.

Ryan was the right choice, but not for the reason in the first choice of this question. Ryan has the elocution and debate skills to shatter the Democratic platform and Obama's record so that the American voter can clearly understand the economic position in which Obama has put us. Both Obama and Biden are no match for him on the podium, especially without a teleprompter. Ryan doesn't need one. What's more, unlike Rubio, Ryan does not have the baggage that the Obama campaign can use as a smoke screen to try and cover up Obama's failures.

I cannot wait to see the Obama campaign, in trying to confront Ryan, go down in flames.

It is rather pompous and presumptuous of him to name a "running mate" before the Republican National Convention is held. He hasn't secured the nomination yet.

Is this another rule change the Republican party is going to run with and accept?

I hope not because if you put another fool like Romney up against Obama you will end up with the same results you did in 08.

You are the lib, you neocons have lost your mind if you think a candidate worse than McCain is going to beat Obama

    Romney is

    For gun control
For tax increases (he calls them fee increases instead)
and he is a "draft dodger"

Nothing he could ever do will change that. The Liberal media jammed him down your throat and you swallowed it whole.

He has no plan or clue just like the Mittiots trying to nominate him.

...romney is ABO. After this election we will have the Tea Party candidate. The dems are dead because they are BAD FOR BUSINESS and repubs tried to out dem the dems. The repubs will still be in the mix...but much subdued. They will either do what 'we the people want them to do' or they are out.
