RAVE if OBAMA is gonna destroy Romney on the debates

Romney's problem might be that he is trying to be too many things to too many people. He has swerved 180 degrees from the positions he had when he ran against Ted Kennedy for the Senate. Even then he lost. He has been caught changing his tune so many times that debate is going to be difficult. I'm sure he will be rehearsed by his handlers (yep, by now he has the Republican establishment handling him) and he will certainly give a valiant try but as a debater I don't believe he can talk about complicated subjects as well as Obama. Foreign affairs will be his downfall. It might be easy to answer questions about social issues because they are red meat to his conservative followers, but he does not know enough about the world to get a handle of things. A lot will depend on who runs the debates and what questions will be allowed. If FOX runs one they will lowball Romney.

Will he be able to effectively use a teleprompter in the debates?
He hasn't done so well at press conferences.

I can only assume that you watch Fox which they never show Obama's speeches and when they do they only show a few lines that they take out of context.

FOX has been showing all of Obama's speeches, to my dismay.

Romney has NO CHANCE in the debates. He will be called out on every lie he's told in the past 7 months.. which is pretty much everything he's ever said.

Only if BO has his handlers cuing him from the audience with flash cards. Uhh, errr, ummm, well, and (cough, cough) just won't cut it this time around. But, since BO will probably keep it to a bare minimum -- you know, like he did in 2008 -- and he will only agree to debates scheduled after the October surprise, I'm sure he's counting on the public's attention being elsewhere. It's gonna have to be a doozy of a surprise!

He took on the complete Republican Congress and slaughtered them his first year in office. I still like to watch that tape. He was great! Fox News wouldn't even show the tape.

Let's see...ummm....58 Dems and 2 Independents(dems in sheep's clothing) makes....wait for it....a supermajority in the Senate!!! And, oh yeah, he had 256 representatives out of 435 in the house.

But you are right, those pesky republicans made it impossible for BO to get his socialistic agenda passed with bi-partisan support - he and his European loving comrades had to actually own every piece of legislation they passed. Which is why BO will never be able to use Obamacare as a weapon against the GOP while the GOP gained historical turnover in Congress in 2010 and will take the Senate in 2012 precisely because they voted against that monstrosity and every other socialistic measure BO has tried.

Any traction BO had during his honeymoon period he completely waffled with his imperial push for Obamacare even after the public turned against it.

Obviously you have either forgotten or choose to ignore like Fox News that the Congressional Republicans invited him to come to their event and take questions from them, which he did and made them look stupid, which guess wasn't to hard.

You are being a critic of Obama's style rather than what he says. He gives thoughtful answers to difficult questions and not bumper sticker slogans.

I'll be surprised if Obama agrees to a debate. He can't put together a coherent sentence without his teleprompter. Having said that, most of Obama's sheep don't watch debates and they don't care that he's incompetent. You're either drinking the kool-aid or you're not.

I beg your pardon. My husband and I are political junkies. We watch everything and sometimes tape and run it again in case we missed something. We are avid C Span watchers too. We read a daily newspaper (conservative) and a weekly mag. The Nation. Also watch both FOX and MSNBC for comparison. And just to let you know we think you are the people drinking the kool aid. So there -- tit-for- tat.

Every President when giving a speech uses the teleprompter. Including Reagan and Bush. But when he takes questions there is no teleprompter, so stop with the teleprompter crap.
