FIRST, the number is 931, not 923. SECOND, the number refers to regulations, NOT executive orders (if you don't know the difference, perhaps you shouldn't be posting here).

According to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA), during its first 40 months the Obama administration approved 931 regulations. The Bush administration? 886. Net economic benefit of those regulations? Obama: $91 billion. Bush: $3.4 billion. Paints a bit of a different picture, doesn't it?
Oh, and as to Executive Orders, as of Sept. 10, 2012, Obama had signed 138.

As it stands now, Obama is still a pretty big favorite at -300 (1/3) to win a second term in office where as Romney still has a lot of ground to make up as indicated by his 240 (12/5) odds.

And, it may also be of interest to hear GOP VP nom Paul Ryan go head-to-head with Vice-President Biden on Thursday, October 11th in a debate which is supposed to cover foreign and domestic policies among other issues.
