Ice-T, the rap legend and actor, defended the right of citizens to carry firearms hours after the Colorado Movie Massacre. Ice-T told Krishnan Guru-Murthy on London’s Channel 4 that he would give up his guns after everyone else gives up theirs.

Ice-T went on to defend gun owners in America: “It’s legal in the United States. The right to bear arms is because that’s the last form of defense against tyranny. Not to hunt. It’s to protect yourself from the police.”
“And do you see any link between that and this sort of instance?” Guru-Murthy challenged.
“No. Not really,” Ice-T responded. “If somebody wants to kill people, they don’t need a gun to do it.”
“Makes it easier though, doesn’t it?” the host pushed back.
“Not really. You can strap explosives on your body. They do that all the time.”

In light of Friday morning's Aurora, Colo., movie theater shooting that left 12 people dead and dozens more injured, the issue of gun control has come roaring back into the public's mind. From NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg to Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) to pretty much every left-leaning personality on MSNBC, many people reacted in a predictably knee-jerk fashion and blamed lax gun control laws (in addition to violent video games and a culture of violence) for the actions of a person who was clearly hell-bent on murdering.

Truth is you know you would not say it.
Now, what happened in Colorado was a tragedy, but, let's not go pointing fingers at anyone or anything other then the psychotic chew toy that perpetrated the horrific act. He and he alone is the one to be blamed.
Contrary to initial reports, the loon was wearing no "body armor" other than a riot helmet with face shield flipped up. The supposedly "bulletproof vest" was nothing more than a "ballistic nylon" (the same thing 'parachute pants' - remember them? - were made out of) vest with pockets for carrying extra ammo mags.
If anyone else had been 'carrying' and fired back with a .40S&W; or .45ACP, they would've dropped him like a sandbag.
some thing this part of an agenda !
