Rand Paul introduces bill for amendment that would disarm the FDA, which recently dispatched armed agents to arrest an Amish farmer for selling milk directly from the cow. Yay or nay?

Kat 2012/05/26 02:33:55YAY! [comment as you wish].+7Government needs to mind their own damned business. We play worlds police force with the military, now homeland security, FDA and all the other 3 letter agencies are trying to play U.S. police force. Needs to stop. States need to stand up to these jack booted hoods.

It was about milk for pete sake!!!!
it won't go anywhere in the Senate ..
Reid (and the partisan nature) has effectively killed everything that made any sense at all.
The pasteurization process is primarily to cook any contaminates in the milk, like the pus and blood that comes from overworked cows. Or essentially they are just hiding the fact that they are selling you rotten contaminated milk. Besides, I'm far more concerned of the potential affects of BGH on a human being than any risks of raw milk.
Instead of the FDA getting in the way, I think people should just become informed and make their own choice. People need to take responsibility rather than outsourcing their cognitive processes to political (not scientific) organizations.
