Rand Paul is Ron Pauls' son. Yet even HE can see that Romney is the clear winner in this primary. Will Ron reach out to his worshipers and ask them to vote for Romney? Ron is expected to have about 200 delegates at the convention. Not enough.

    No. Ron can still win.

Ron Paul's ideals are too different from Romney's ideals (Romney being a "Big Government Establishment Republican"). Ron Paul can still win the nomination for a few reasons: Both Romney and Obama have charges laid against them for instances including fraud and disruption of political process, Ron is gaining delegates more efficiently than Romney, and Ron Paul has stronger values and is a better debater/speaker than both Romney and Obama. It isn't the first time an underdog has pulled off an unexpected win.

Ron is more concerned with inflating his ego than he is with governing. His entire political career was spent sucking the government teat and living off the charity of taxpayers while deriding big government.

Rand Paul's announcement signals that the word is out that lacking solidarity going into the convention would be a political disaster, virtually handing the election to Obama.

Ron Paul won't support Romney, as it would be a violation of everything he stands for. It's clear his son lacks the conviction of his father, and puts politics above principle.

Given that there is now there already legal challenges bubbling, it will come down to who is prepared to through the most money at again in order to "buy" the election.

It is a sad state of affairs where each $ you have counts as an additional vote isn't it?

I wonder if that father-son relationship can ever be patched?...
