So, Ron Paul has ended his campaign and his son endorsed Mitt Romney. I was hoping that faced with defeat Ron Paul will be the honorable man and he did not disappoint me. I respect him for that. Those who support Ron Paul should respect him and vote for Romney just as his son is going to do. The objective is to fire mister 0bama.

Better to die a hero than live long enough to become a villain.

As I recall, our founders would prefer to die than sell out. As Patrick Henry said, "Give me Liberty or Give Me Death!"

Read Patrick Henry's speech, and maybe you will understand. Those men were ready to die for their principles, and would not compromise, period.

If you think Obama is such a bad man, and you have any illusions that Romney will be any better, let me save you the let down, Romney = Obama... They are both already bought and paid for by the banking cartel and military industrial complex! Vote for whichever little puppet you like better, but thinking you'll have a different result is funny...

No - that's the a pretty irrelevant and stupid analogy given that democrats & republicans, regardless of lip service are one in the same on foreign and monetary policies - so save me the social issues that the government has really no business messing with in the first place, there is no difference between one of the lesser of two evils...

I'll stick to my principals, and continue to fight against the status que - you go ahead and hold your nose and vote for EVIL! At the end of the day, I may not change your mind, but I know I'll continue to preserve my integrity and principals...

    ☮ R P ☮ 1988 ☮ R P ☮ 2008 ☮ R P 2012 ☮ It's a groundswell that's been building up since the 70's. Connecting the dots, Jack Hunter's take--
Ron Paul is Becoming Something More Important Than President
    http://www.ronpaul2012.com/20...
"Ron Paul conceding he won’t be president and Rand Paul supporting the presumptive GOP nominee are but trivial anecdotes to the obvious and ongoing success of the most transformative political movement of our time: The rEVOLution.

I’m more excited right now about our political future than at any other time in my life. Still, some people aren’t connecting all the dots. Please watch, contemplate and share. This movement moves forward. To Tampa and beyond:"

That's unfortunate (can't support either Romney or Obama), but hopefully by 2016 Ron Paul will have found a suitable ideological heir to continue bringing the ideas of liberty to the public.

I would advise our loyal opposition not to consider the Ron Paul movement "over" though...the campaign was just the embryonic stage of something far bigger to come.

The elections will still be around. It needs to be to give us the illusion of choice.

In fact, the elections will mean nothing until we reject the establishment candidates and vote for a real man.

I for one know that it will not be the same, ask yourself with as much unconstitutional crap this guy pulled in his first term, what will his second be like. Read the history of Hugo Chavez and then come back and tell me again how that won't happen.

What makes you so certain that Romney would be so different with his socialist past, and constantly agreeing with Obama on issues like the NDAA?

You're mind is so focused on one evil, that you cant see anyone else as evil.

The movement was always bigger than Paul. Besides, we all have guns to our heads. Its either we are all in for outing these vipers, or we all lose.

And I was hoping Rand would be the heir to the legacy. Guess not, which is a shame. I'm never voting for him now that he's sold out.

A new start would be 3rd party or completely rejecting both parties that incessantly support the raping and pillaging of this nation.

All Romney will do is produce a false sense of a new beginning for conservatives, continue Obama's policies, and pacify many to "liberal" agendas. He'll betray you all, just as Rand betrayed those that put him in office.

It's not going to happen in 2012, if we stand together and remove the liberal road block maybe we can work for 2016. If you behave stupidly like the liberals we'll never get there.
