First lady Michelle Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha are visiting Las Vegas after stopping in South Dakota on a family trip.

A spokeswoman for McCarran International Airport confirmed that the first lady was expected to arrive in Las Vegas Wednesday night. The visit wasn't expected to affect flight operations.

White House officials say the Obamas are on a private family trip to the West.

The Obamas visited Mount Rushmore on Wednesday before heading to Las Vegas.

WRONG again! That's as compared to Laura Bush's staff of 18 during the final year of the G.W. Bush administration (2008).
Needless to say, it's disingenuous to refer to the size of Michelle Obama's staff as "unprecedented" when virtually all of the existing positions were established during previous administrations. The 18 did not travel with Michelle Obama either.

Pakistan was off limits for ALL Americans . No American could go there under ANY situation. NO PAssports OR visa WERE ISSUED TO ANY AMERICANS AT ALL. At that time I was doing gov't contracting and could not get a passport to work on one of our ships in the area. So I am VERY familiar with this situation !! In 1983. He was NOT involved in politics or any other gov't intity. So he COULD NOT have gone there as an American citizen. He could not explain this either ! Iheard this conversation DIRECTLY from him. Read his last two books if you want to know WHO he is
