Barack Obama is causing more than just ripples in the political world, he's also causing ripples in the space time continuum, according to Nobel winning physicist and self confessed time traveling mad scientist, Ethel Alfredbaum.

“It used to be that we'd just go back in time and try to kill Hitler before he was born,” Ethel explained during a public tour of her secret bunker laboratory. “But ever since Obama was elected and right wingers have been reporting that Obama is actually worse than Hitler, we've been stuck with a real quantum quandary. Do we keep trying to kill Hitler, or do we try to eliminate Obama? Sure, Obama hasn't killed 6 million members of one ethnic group so far, but with all these warning signs, is it really responsible to wait until he inevitably turns the USA into a socialist state and massacres all the God fearing white people? Is it?

'First they came for the Dinosaurs but I was not a Dinosaur so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Jews but I was not Jewish so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me.'” Ethel misquoted blithely, yet very seriously.

When asked who 'they' might be, Ethel briefly seemed confused before replying brightly “The atheist homosexuals, of course!”

Ethel Alfredbaum went on to share that she was first alerted to the Obama danger when she saw opponents to public health care reform carrying a sign which depicted the bodies of dead Jews along with the words “Nationalist Socialist Healthcare.”

“At first I was surprised that Obama would be so blatant about his planned death panels and gas chambers, but then I realized that's just how brazen he is,” Ethel said, punching co-ordinates into the keyboard of her patented steam punk style time machine.

“But never fear. I plan to put paid to all this madness before it gets started. There won't be another Hitler on my watch! I'm going back to the time and place of Obama's birth to kill him with science,” Ethel declared boldly, hitting several switches around the room.

At that point in the interview, the time machine began to whirr loudly, and the clanging of brass lids and tins echoed around the stone walls of Ethel's underground bunker.

“Stand back!” Ethel shouted, donning her thick goggles and switching on a small microwave perched precariously in the center of the time traveling device. “I use C4 to power this time machine! It's the only way to break my body up into pieces small enough to be transported through the electromagnetic flux of the space time continuum as provided by this common household appliance!”

Safely behind a blast shield, we watched as Ethel pulled the grand golden lever and was instantly atomized by the controlled detonation of several pounds of high explosive. As we choked on the resulting billowing dust, her final battle cry still rang in our ears.

“To Kenya!”
