The presidential campaign is heating up as the election draws near, and both parties have come out swinging. Fortunately for the candidates, that's just a figure of speech. This isn't the Bolivian House of Commons. But what if the election really did come down to fisticuffs? Could Romney throw a knock-out punch? How is Obama's left hook? We took this all-too-important question to the public. You know, just in case.
It looks like Obama took this one by a hair, but you know what they say. Close only counts in horseshoes and grenades. And maybe KOs. It would be quite the brawl, to be sure. In Romney's defense, he's definitely the larger man and doesn't have a history of smoking. On the other hand, Obama has proven himself a tough physical competitor on the basketball court.
Repping Your Party
We wanted this to be a fair fight, but based on the political breakdown, it seems most people just went with their party anyway. Few conservatives gave Obama the benefit of the doubt, and even fewer liberals did so for Romney. It's probably not going to happen anytime soon, so it's not like anyone's going to lose a bet here.
Teens Back Obama
Going by age, the youngest voters were much more likely to pick Obama. As voters got older they were less likely to pick the President, until about age 45 when it leveled out completely in favor of Romney. Of course, we have to allow for the possibility that this was also politically-minded, as younger people do tend to vote left.
Men Split the Vote
Men and women often have different attitudes toward violence, and also different perspectives on the relative strength of male competitors. For instance, there are more men interested in boxing and MMA than women. (Though, according to UFC president Dana White, the female audience is catching up.) Men were completely split, but women pushed the vote in Obama's favor.

Voter fraud is the excuse given by the Grand OBSTRUCTION Party for the requirement of Photo ID, but every citizen who signs up to vote must provide ID,and their signatures are on file The statistic in almost every state is that the supposed voter fraud is so small as to be almost nonexistent. and it is being done to disenfranchise certain groups of Democratic voters from their Constitutional right to vote. Moreover, it is being done just before the 2012 election.
We have all read anecdotal cases in every state of people who have voted for years and are now barred -- not because they aren't eligible but because they don't have the proper photo ID. Who are these people? According to a 2006 survey by the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law, individuals who do not have government issued photo identification include:
** 11% of voting-age population, or as many as 21 million people.
** 18% percent of Americans over 65.
** 25% of African Americans.
** 15% of low-income voters
It is obvious that ID requirements would disproportionately affect the elderly, the young, the poor, and racial and ethnic minorities. At the federal level, only 24 people were convicted of voter fraud between 2002 and 2005. At this rate, Americans are twice as likely to be hit by lightening as to have their vote canceled out by a fraudulent cast vote. The Grand OBSTRUCTION Party is purposefully taking U.S. citizen's Constitutional right to vote and have a voice in their own country. Almost all of those voters vote Democrat, and they have done this right before the 2012 election. Just how far down in the slime will the GOP go to steal the 2012 election?

As the Center for the Study of the American Electorate (CSAE) observed in 2008 report, the GOP is either out of contention or are seeing an erosion of support in New England, the mid-Atlantic, the West, the mountain states, the Industrial Midwest, and even part of the South. And let us not forget Pennsylvania Republican Mike Turzai, who gently crowed how the state's voter ID laws would ensure victory for Mitt Romney.

There would be no fraud because there would be no registration. Every eligible citizen would simply swiped their card and vote. And the GOP would then have to make its case before America in the fullness of its diversity, an electorate not being whittled down by artificial barriers and fraud and giving an advantage to the Republican Party as is being done now. Conservatism is the domination of society by an aristocracy (The filthy Rich). Conservatism is incompatible with democracy, prosperity, and civilization in general. It is a destructive system of inequality and prejudice that is founded on deception and has no place in the modern word. For thousands of years, conservatism was universally understood as being in opposition to democracy, and the destruction of reason.
Conservatives do not trust the intellect or the will of the people. Their goal is to subjugate them for the benefit of a small minority of the privileged, while convincing the masses that this is the correct order of things, they have a great dislike for the very idea of equality. Equality you see is a very mischievous and complicated concept for them to handle. If it were not for the Declaration of Independence, it would be long gone by now. Equality is an ideal that contradicts everything they stand for. It is obvious that people do not enjoy matching portions of health, skill, talent, intellect, strong family support, wealth and privilege, and even good will. Because of that, equality loses its practical meaning. Democracy, where each person's vote, value and opinion are equal with everyone else, seems a naive form of government doomed to failure to the hidden agenda of conservatism. It always has. The founders of modern day conservatism make this very clear.
Simply put, not everyone, as defined by conservatives should have an equal voice, because not everyone should be viewed as equal, and therefore deserving. Conservatism calls for us to surrender to their acknowledged aristocracy of those who have great wealth, leadership abilities, power, and stature. These include conservative politicians, corporate CEOs, the Filthy Rich, some religious leaders who tow the line, and purveyors of local prejudices (Governor Scott Walker, etc.), those who blaspheme the name of freedom by trying to control the thoughts and values of others. We all know them well
Setting up an aristocracy of power is the central cause of conservatism, despite all the talk about national debt, religion, patriotism, taxes, spending, gun rights, and abortion. These issues are nothing but stepping stones to their goal, and all one has to do is look how these leaders live their lives to verify it (Glenn Beck, Sara Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Rick Perry, Newt Gingrich, Mitch McConnell, etc.). Their hypocrisy is undeniable, which is why wedge issues never really get resolved. Actions speak louder than words. Their chief concern proven over and over again is to cater to the Filthy Rich and powerful-while making sure that the working people are subserviently supportive of them through DEFICIT PRODUCING TAX CUTS, even against their own interests. Some democracy. When they talk of tradition, this is what they mean. They are harking back to a form of aristocracy rule rooted in the Middle Ages.This is exactly the process by which Corporate fascism or Oligarchy/Plutocracy are created.
Conservatives are all fundamentalists with a top dressing of chaos and destruction. That is why they are the stupidest of Conservatives, T-Boogers, and reactionaries in politics and the most bigoted of obstructionists and domestic terrorists. When it comes to getting their hate on they are all of the same opinion: stop it, lie about it, distort it, obstruct it, flog it, dynamite it, and stamp the truth right out of it.
Republican parrots and their leaders have a strong resistance to facts and truth, and they seem to like doubling down on everything wrong as they have done throughout history. If ignorance is bliss, then why aren't their more happy Conservatives? Conservatives are also bent on destruction and chaos just to benefit themselves.
