The presidential campaign is heating up as the election draws near, and both parties have come out swinging. Fortunately for the candidates, that's just a figure of speech. This isn't the Bolivian House of Commons. But what if the election really did come down to fisticuffs? Could Romney throw a knock-out punch? How is Obama's left hook? We took this all-too-important question to the public. You know, just in case.
It looks like Obama took this one by a hair, but you know what they say. Close only counts in horseshoes and grenades. And maybe KOs. It would be quite the brawl, to be sure. In Romney's defense, he's definitely the larger man and doesn't have a history of smoking. On the other hand, Obama has proven himself a tough physical competitor on the basketball court.
Repping Your Party
We wanted this to be a fair fight, but based on the political breakdown, it seems most people just went with their party anyway. Few conservatives gave Obama the benefit of the doubt, and even fewer liberals did so for Romney. It's probably not going to happen anytime soon, so it's not like anyone's going to lose a bet here.
Teens Back Obama
Going by age, the youngest voters were much more likely to pick Obama. As voters got older they were less likely to pick the President, until about age 45 when it leveled out completely in favor of Romney. Of course, we have to allow for the possibility that this was also politically-minded, as younger people do tend to vote left.
Men Split the Vote
Men and women often have different attitudes toward violence, and also different perspectives on the relative strength of male competitors. For instance, there are more men interested in boxing and MMA than women. (Though, according to UFC president Dana White, the female audience is catching up.) Men were completely split, but women pushed the vote in Obama's favor.

Over that many years I have the perspective of 72 years of experience that you have not had, and have been retired for over 16 years now. That does not make me superior to you, I just have had more experience becaues I have lived longer, and have had the ability to experienced more. I am sometimes amused at my thought process when I was a young man, and have wondered what was I thinking then, and how lacking I was in information to make wise, informed decisions. I had to grow up faster as my parents were uneducated, didn't have a strong sense of how critical encouragement was for a young person. My dad was in World War II and came home an alcoholic, and my parents soon divorced.
I rember as a young boy dreaming about what I would be when I was full grown, and I remember saying to myself that I would be what I trained and educated myself to be. It was like a light went off in my head. Since I retire 16 years ago, I had a thirst for politics, and recorded history. I have researche everything about our history from the signing of The Constitution, The Great Deppression, the "Great Prosperity" from 1947 until the late 1970s and up to Reagan administration. The Great Prosperity is said to be the most prosperous period our county has ever seen. Then I researched everthing that has happened from Reagan to our present economic abyss when so many of our fellow citizens were financially crusified by this near-Depression. I love politics, and understood how many people can lose everything they have because of an ideology and policies of one party in control, and how it impacts my life and security. Especially the lives of my grown children and my grandchildren.
Since I retired, my interest in politics grew and, I have researched, and fact-checked what caused this economic abyss that started with the Reagan administration, Bush 1, Clinton, and George Walker Bush. I researched, fact-checked, read tons of books, read the "CONCLUSIONS OF THE FINANCIAL CRISIS INQUIRY COMMISSION", watched C-Span, magazines, and everything on the web and news on various news channels, including FOX NEWS. I am a pragmatist, a realist, and only use facts, proof, truth, and reality in my debates. I encourage and invite anyone I debate to prove anything I give is false. Nobody so far has been able to find what I present to be a lie or false. I havekept a ongoing list of every lie, conspiracy theory, and distortions of the truth that the Republicans/ Conservatives, and T-Party (I call T-Boogers out of a lack of respect.) have used.
What I have tried to tell you is what you believe now as compared to what will impact your life, your children, and your prosperty by the decisions of politicians and political parties is going to be a lot different. Today the GOP is threatening to continue the same Bush policies on steriods that put us in this economic abyss in the first place. This election has never been about the economy for the GOP, it has been about destroying every social program they have been trying to destroy since FDR. For seniors like me, their desire to destroy Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, women's medical rights, NPR, children's special education, for those with disabilities, lunch programs, and all of the programs affecting the most disadvantaged in our country is just obhorant and sleezy.
If they can't get your vote, they will disinfranchise millions from their Constitutional right to vote and have a voice in their own country. Romney has proven, in that secret video, that he will only be the President of the super rich. Every major independent research group and economist has said that the Romney/Ryan Budget, if implemented, will explode the national debt and push us into another deep recession or another Great Depression.
Tell me one thing the Republicans have done to help this country or the American people to fix this economic abyss they created? OBSTRUCTION, HOLDING THE COUNTRY HOSTAGE TWICE, FILIBUSTERED AND BLOCKED ALL JOB CREATION, DEADLOCKED CONGRESS SO THAT NO LEGISLATION COUD BE PASSED TO FIX THE ECONOMY.
THE REPUBLICANS are trying to make Obama look bad isn't working. NATURAL BORN JOB KILLERS: REPUBLICANS OBSTRUCT OVER 4.2 MILLION JOBS.

Most human beings appreciate a person who sets a long-term goal and achieves success through careful planning, dedication, and single-minded determination to see their final objective reach fruition. There are, of course, some goals that should never be made, much less achieved, and world history is replete with examples of dastardly leaders whose goals were not in the best interest of humankind and caused immeasurable damage to a great number of people. On Inauguration night in 2009, Republican leaders gathered to plot the absolute obstruction of President Obama’s economic agenda and thus far, they have been successful much to the disappointment of millions of Americans who continue to suffer the effects Republican’s goal of retarding economic recovery and job creation. The GOP makes matters worse by decrying the President’s handling of the economy when the truth is that if they had not blocked, obstructed, and stonewalled every one of the President’s plans to improve the jobs and economic picture, the economy would be much closer to achieving a robust recovery.
The only failure in Republican attempts to totally destroy the economy was their inability to obstruct the President’s stimulus the Congressional Budget Office and several independent agencies claim created over 5.2 million jobs. However, they have made up for that success by refusing to consider President Obama’s American Jobs Act proposed over a year-and-a-half ago, and coupled with severe austerity measures at the state and local level, they have been successful maintaining unemployment at over 8% instead of less-than 6% if they were not intent on obstruction and economic devastation.
The austerity measures Republicans are implementing have never worked during a recession and despite the abject failure of every European country that enacted austerity, they are hell-bent on following the countries that have no growth and soaring unemployment. Even the presumptive Republican presidential candidate, Willard Romney, admitted that austerity during a recession is disastrous, and yet Republicans have killed over 600,000 public sector jobs that prevented 2.3 million downstream jobs from being created. Coupled with Republican obstruction of the President’s job plan in January 2011, they have effectively prevented 4.2 million Americans from finding good, living wage jobs, or enough to bring the unemployment rate down to 5.5% in a little over a year. Instead of cutting 600,000 teaching, police, firefighter and other public jobs And who made the job numbers worse? If states had increased those lost jobs by one-half, the unemployment rate would be under 5% and tax revenue would be up, the deficit would be reduced, and the economy would be humming along.
Republicans are now claiming that letting the Bush era tax cuts for the rich expire will kill more jobs, but the facts, and history, do not bear out their fallacious assertions. During the Clinton Administration, the wealthy paid 3% more in taxes and the economy added 22-million jobs, wages increased, and businesses boomed. In fact, during the Eisenhower Administration, the wealthy paid nearly 90% in taxes during the time when hundreds of thousands of soldiers returned from World War II, and the infusion of cash created the nation’s highway system, a booming economy, and the great middle class. The GOP knows how to create jobs, but they have no interest in America’s economy, or its people and they must relish the thought of killing jobs and retarding economic growth as they planned in 2009, and will continue throughout 2012.
There is a tax plan in the Senate proposed by Democrats that gives small businesses a 10% tax cut in exchange for hiring new workers and raising employee’s pay. It also allows businesses to fully deduct the cost of significant investments made in 2012 as an improvement to the current law that caps write-offs at 50%. An independent firm specializing in economic modeling estimates the legislation will add 1 million new jobs to the U.S. economy. The plan should give Republicans wet-knickers for including a tax cut for real small-business job creators in the healthcare, social services, and retail industry, and it passed a test vote in the Senate. However, because it was a Democratic plan, Republicans insist on loading it with amendments and the Republican-controlled House will surely oppose it because it creates jobs, and not tax cuts for the rich.
It is a travesty that Republicans hate Americans with such a passion that they deliberately obstructed over 4.2 million jobs, and continue advocating for more tax cuts for the wealthy as they seek out ways to kill more jobs. They have also resisted attempts by the President and Democrats to rescind tax breaks for corporations that ship Americans’ jobs overseas, and there is no telling how low the unemployment rate would be if they did their jobs. However, they have fulfilled their goal of obstructing economic recovery and job creation measures so one can imagine they celebrate every new report that unemployment is stuck at a little over 8% when the reality is if they cared about the economy or the American people it would be under 5%, and that is without letting Bush-era tax cuts for the wealthy expire. But that is the Republican Party that cannot compromise, help the American people, or help fix the economy their policies sent to the edge of the abyss. But they still have time to finish the job they started and obstruct America into a deep economic recession which appears to be their true plan that began in 2001 and should reach fruition by December 2012 when the Mayans predicted the world comes to an end. Unfortunately for millions of unemployed Americans, their world ended when Republicans deliberately killed their jobs and obstructed every single attempt to restore them and it appears they still have not achieved their ultimate goal of destroying the economy to make room for more tax cuts for their precious, imaginary “job creators.”
If you want a list of the Romney/Ryan lies. conspiracy theories, and distortions of the truth, then come on back as I am the man who has them and the facts that expose them. I just won't be a part of their deception, and lies, and I will confront and expose every damn one of them I bump into.

Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. LACK OF ATTENTION TO THE ECONOMY !! “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new. “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
AND LAST !!! Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. THIS IS WHAT YOUR PRESIDENT KNOW ALL TO WELL THE WAS RAISE IN IT. MENTORED IT..
