It's been more than a year since Charlie Sheen started "winning" -- i.e., was dismissed from the highest-rated show on television, went on several public bipolar tirades, and embarked on his highly criticized "Violent Torpedo of Truth" comedy tour. Now we're just a couple of weeks from the debut of Sheen's next television project, "Anger Management" (June 28), and producers are banking on rave reviews. They've reportedly spent $700,000 on material that won't even air if it doesn't turn heads. So we asked the public who plans on watching.

You might be wondering why we gave this a positive title when the majority clearly isn't interested. Well, if you think about it, in terms of television ratings, 45% is unprecedented. At its peak, the first episode of the sixth season of "American Idol" attracted about 20% of television households. Of course, not everyone who voted "yes" in this poll" is going to tune in, but that's still more than enough to make for a promising first run.
Sheen's Peers Show Interest

The age breakdown was telling, but it wasn't exactly consistent. Interest fluctuated, but there was a clear peak at 45-54 -- incidentally the age range Sheen would fall into -- and a trough at about 25-34. Outside of the 25-54 range, younger voters were more likely to watch the show while older voters were less likely.
Not Winning With Women

Sheen has been married three times, and divorced three times. He once had a gaggle of goddesses, but lost them along the way. Usually, he seems to be pretty good at piquing female interest before they pack their bags, but in this case the ladies aren't trying their luck. At least, most of them aren't. Only about a third of the female vote is interested, compared to half of the male vote.
Where There's Smoke There's Fire

Tobacco isn't Sheen's substance of choice, but his show still managed to get an enormous amount of attention from smokers. Drinkers were interested, too, but smokers are chomping at the bit. More than two-thirds of them are interested in watching "Anger Management," compared to just 39% of nonsmokers. It definitely has a demographic.
