is what true or false the fact that public opinion says it's not controversial or them having more than two parents not BEING controversial. I had 4 parents, not all in the same house of course, but my Dad and Stepmom and my Mom and Stepdad. that's more common nowadays than people who actually have both biological parents in one house...

I never understood that. Being a parent is MUCH more than giving birth. I dont even claim my bio parents that is IF they are even alive.

yeah because if a child who has been adopted by one or two parents and then they have their real parents out there somewhere, then yeah they should have more than two parents.

Thank goodness the biological parents CHOSE to give them life and allowed them to be adopted by others who either COULD NOT or CHOSE NOT to have children. These adopted children have brought much joy into many lives. I have 2 nephews who are blonde and blue eyed and a niece who is of Chinese biological parents. What joy these children have brought. Thank God for them and for the biological parents who LOVED them enough to give them life.

It is controversial to mainstream public but I don't have a problem with it.

there are a lot of "step-parents" these days too, so having more than 2 isn't all that unusual i think ...

It's called open-adoption. It works better in some cases, than others. However, in some cases, a woman (or girl) who is not ready to be a mother or for whatever reason, cannot keep the child, can still have contact. It makes it easier for a woman to choose adoption when she really isn't ready. I see girls I've known since kindergarten having babies at 14, 15, or 16. They are not ready to be mothers. I can't help but feel that the best solution might be an open-adoption where they can still see their baby, but also feel that the child has the best care--care they cannot emotionally or physically give the child.

The more common something is the less strange it tends to be. This subject just so happens to be becoming a lot more common. I've witnessed it IRL.
