The U.S. supported the removal of the last regime in Egypt and now we have militant Muslims storming the U.S. embassy and raising black flags. With American help, these very militants were freed from the tyranny of Mubarak -- and now this? Can the U.S. ever win in the Middle East?

The best option is for us to get the hell out of the middle east, and to stay out! Following that would be to close our borders to ANY travel FROM the middle east. Complete quarantine. Nobody in, nobody out--at least not insofar as we're concerned. Fundamentalist Islam should be seen as the contagion it is, and it should be treated as such.

Sir, it's you in need of an education. The middle east was not in the war. The Holocaust was European German's against European Jews and authorized by European Jews. Why punish Arabs and Persians? What did they do? After the war why not give the Jews part of Bulgaria or Germany? Why pick on Palestine?

Oh Steveth; you have forgotten the arab world is religion dictated. The middle east having been waring for centuries. The Holocaust was funded by Rothschild, Hitler ran out of money toward the end but certain countries still wanted it to go ahead....which Rothschild funded it to the end....Anyway the worlds about to go to war, it is written in the bible the Iranian President has told people he's talking to the 12th Oman (whose dead) and the bible states the 12th Oman is the antichrist.. so is he talking to satan.....Iran or Israel are about to bomb each other, the US is getting slammed by the arab nations (its written) and all out war is about to happen...we've had muslims protesting here in OZ on the weekend......I think they should go back to there country if there so passionate about it, don't waste our tax payers money, creating riots in Sydney city......ferals!!~.the world is a real mess!

Barbara, my spell checker is Atheist, also! Moses died many hundreds of years before Jesus was born, right, that's the fun part. Your Christian friends will say, of course! That's why I said not friends. In fifth grade I read about the Holocaust and it made me sick, but I had been reading parts of the old testament, and knew Moses was the inventor of genocide; and thought, O well! Try the question.

Actually, it began with "The rise and fall of the Third Reich." It was for sale in the base exchange at Harmon Air Force Base in Newfoundland. It could have been 6th or year 1958 or 1959? Barbara it is about a five inches thick, black with scarlet red printing, paperback, and I did finish it. Lampshade skins and all the horrible sins of war. Many night mares. Couldn't say or ask anything or Mom would have flipped. I didn't understand much of it. When did you begin reading? You can never be too young!

No, I didn't understand The third Reich. I didn't have enough knowledge of History to understand it, and I didn't believe all I was reading. I can't accept that a poorly written book of fiction like the bible is necessary to be studied. Have you read the Old Testament?

The Bible has been changed,only the vatican holds the true bible hidden away....only because the vatican wants riches.....Constantine also changed it to suit his so called lifestyle.... I know we have all been fooled and will realise when he comes....so many false churches out there....Old and New testament, over and over again and it does surprise me that everytime I read it something pops up and you think how did I miss that....

The only reason for reading fiction is enjoyment and entertainment. Do you enjoy reading the old Testament? I most assuredly didn't! It's odious, evil and horrid. Man's inhumanity to man.

I am a recovering Roman Catholic. And, also, recovering Christian. I never chose to be either. It's only our choices we can be held responsible for. I never believed the Christian bible the old or new testament. Barbara, want to have some fun? Ask 10 Christians, not friends, if they believe Moses was a good Christian. Ha ha ha I think Muslims are more knowledgeable of their religion. Eight of my friends to the right are saying NO!

They lifted the Garden of Eden from an old Ottoman bible. They used a few stories from the Apostles, mostly it's a fabrication. Never been able to understand why Huck Finn is in the fiction section of the library and the Roman Catholic Bible in nonfiction? Go figure!
