This doesn't have anything to do with fear of intimidation. Now the procedure will be transparent instead of shorouded in the secrecy of a grand jury.THIS IS A GOOD THING. All eyes are on Corey and her department and everything has to be above reproach...the world is watching. ZIMMERMAN SUPPORTERS DON'T TAKE ANY FALSE ENCOURAGEMENT FROM THIS!

Let the Judicial system do it's job weighing in all the facts. If Jessie or Al show up and create a scene, throw them in jail. What do these two do to contribute to a civil society?
    Anyone.......

So far, she's not going to make this a first-degree murder case.

Next question: will Zimmerman get his day in court before the case gets bound over for trial?

Hip Hip Hooray is a bit strong for my response, Just consider my response as an affirmative.
There is no reason for a grand jury. There is no question as to what happened, there are not a large number of people involved and there is no conspiracy.

There press could use a bit of education in citizenship in this matter as in many others; but then they wouldn't be stirring up racial tensions. The police have done nothing wrong in this case and yet they are being unfairly blamed. The police do not wish to place a person under arrest without a prosecutor willing to file charges against an individual. The police cannot hold a person in jail without due cause to do so would violate a person's Constitutional right to habeous corpus.

You really don't understand, do you? She is smart enough to not take the case to the GJ at this time as the red necks at the Police Department have not completed their "investigation" , such as it might be. She doesn't want to present a half-assed package to the GJ, which sometimes makes it difficult to bring the matter again to the jury when all the investigation is done. The FBI will help by doing the real investigation, including the parts the Police Department might have played in the matter, and then she can bring the matter to the jury, else the FBI can then go directly to a Federal Grand Jury with the proper indictment pleading as a "hate crime" of second degree murder.

I've read every scrap of police reports, witness logs, heard every 911 tape and gone over Zimmerman's call 30 times.
There simply is no explanation why Martin was anywhere near where the shooting occurred unless he was listening and lying in wait for Zimmerman to end his call.

3 minutes pass from the time Zim says "OK" after the operator says OK, we don;t need you yo do that" and the gunshot is heard on a 911 call.

It's only 100yds from where he was and the Father's Girlfriend's condo. That indicates he surely wasn't scared and running towards the address. That would have taken about 15 seconds, tops.

Martin's attorneys don't have a case because everything they claim is based on an alleged phone call and nothing more. Nothing can be corroborated and the 'girlfriend' has made statements containing details she couldn't have possibly known unless she was standing right there or heard / read it in the news.
Her credibility is shot to pieces.

Because by Florida law, any capital case (Murder 1) must go through a grand jury.
Stalking is pre meditation which is the definition of first degree along with malice.

Obviously, there is no case for that, or anything else really. They have mire than enough evidence to support Zimmerman's self defense and nothing to support the ice tea & Skittles story.

You are trying to excuse the lunatic by rewriting and spinning the facts. Zimmerman stalked the boy and told the 911 dispatcher he was doing so. The dispatcher told him to knock it off. He didn't. Premeditation does not require a
week of contemplation, but even a few moments when intent is formed. Obviously this nutcase had several minutes in which to contemplate and premeditate, and to carry out his murderous act. There is no burden of defense to place upon a victim of a murder. The boy doesn't have to defend his actions in walking and not running away from this lunatic. Better for him had he done so, but he didn't and was killed because he didn't run and hide. Had he ran, Zimmerman probably would have shot him in the back.

I'm so ready for this whole entire thing to be put to rest. OBVIOUSLY, there isn't enough evidence to charge him the way the protesters would like. They need to pack their danged bags and hit the road. Trayvon Martin was not exactly an upstanding citizen, and George Zimmerman isn't the criminal some have painted him to be.

So, you are suggesting that black boys "not exactly an upstanding citizen" (Do you want to explain how you came to that conclusion?) can be stalked and killed in a crummy little spot in Florida filled with paranoid red necks? You sound like some of the comments I read in the 1960s when college students were murdered in Missisisippi and Alabama. "Oh, just those rabble rousing kids from Wisconsin".....

If there was any case at all, he would have been arrested long ago, before Sharpton, Jackson, and the NBPP incited violence and people were injured.

There isn't a shred of evidence in Martin's favor, the entire circus was concocted from "DeeDee's" phantom phone call, nothing more.

The only way to end this circus is to bring it to trial. That way all the evidence will be out in the open and available without spin, editing or speculation.

I think that Sharpton being in Harlem instead of Occupy Sanford this weekend says a lot.

All police reports, paramedic logs, witness statements, etc will be made available after the decision is announced and he is not arrested for any crime.

The family may attempt a civil "wrongful death" lawsuit but will get booted for lack of evidence. If there was any case at all, dozens of high profile attorneys would have been tripping all over one another to take it pro bono. Nobody has stepped up to the plate.
