Propaganda: noun;
We all know what propaganda is. For the older populations they remember it from WWII, Vietnam, and the Cold War. For the younger generations it seems we were only taught about it in text books like it was a remnant of the past.
But political propaganda is alive and well, especially here in America. Both the Democrats and the Rebublicans use hateful, fearmongering techniques to inspire both support and discontent, dividing the American people. The media is unreliable, you can't believe anything you hear, see, or read these days simply because the government has its hands in everything.
I believe the government is using this propaganda to keep the people of our nation divided and therefore making us easier to control, and Sodahead is a great place to see how badly we are divided. People hurl insults at one another simply because of the political affiliation labels they put on themselves. But this should not be a war between the liberals and the conservatives ... this should be a war between the American people and the government. But I digress, as I'm sure I've stepped on enough toes with this already.
What is your take of it? Is American Political Propaganda still alive and well and dividing our nation?
