    Awesome video!
As an aside, one might wonder if people knew that lightning strikes are attracted to fire pits because they are full of carbon. Adding water to the ground should increase the conduction into the ground even more. Could it be people knew this at one time and used lighting to start their fires? That would be something.

and if the universe requires a creator, why doesn't a god need a creator too?

The only answer that I can think of is that God has hidden that from us. There is absolutely no scientific answer how something comes from nothing. There is no logic whatsoever in it.

That's not an answer that's a wild guess. Maybe the universe has always been here. That's my wild guess.

I can't even comprehend something not having a beginning. That is not proof of God, but I believe there must be a better answer than just that it has always been here. If that is the best we can come up with then we aren't capable of knowing any of the real mysteries of the universe.

That's an assumption on your part, saying we can't know, but I agree it seems unlikely we will ever know. Nonetheless, we are here, so either god/the universe was always here, or he/it popped out of nothing. Either answer is unfathomable to me. The fact that I cannot comprehend it is irrelevant.

So you can't comprehend god not having a beginning either then. Who created god?

You have to do some work on your own. Nobody is going to convince you on a site like this, especially when you seem to have your mind made up. I guess the best proof is that so many people believe it. That may not prove the Christian God, but it would seem a pretty good place to start searching for answers.

People used to believe the Earth was flat. That certainly was not true.

No, it wasn't flat. We have come a long way since then, but two things remain consistent. Scientists keep on finding out they were wrong and most people still possess a Bible. And I am not anti-science.

Unlike religion, which assumes to know it all, science is ever-changing precisely because we know we don't know it all. Science is learning, not knowing, and it will always change. That does not mean we will find out the earth is flat, and it does not mean the earth is not orbiting the sun. It may mean, however, that the big bang theory is wrong, or that other ideas are wrong, because we didn't have enough information at the time. It's that simple.

Your statement has a somewhat significant contradiction.
You say something is impossible, then that the aforementioned impossibility happens.
If nothing comes from nothing, how can anyone make something out a thing that nothing can come from?
As for how something comes from nothing, look at quantum physics, at that level matter and energy pop in and out of existence all the time.

You can't define what god is. You can't define what a supreme being is. Thus, your statement is moot. You might as well be talking about the anatomy of unicorns.

Nor can you define how it all started. Nothing more than wild differing theories. People who believe in God have seen the evidence in their own lives. You have not seen the beginning because you were not there. Your whole unbelief comes apart because you cannot explain where the big hunk of matter came from and why it all of a sudden went bang. Even explanations of what happened after that are shaky at best.

I don't have to define how it all started. I can take a "wait and see what researchers come up with" approach. Or I can become a researcher and help find out myself. Those are the logical choices.
