Jared Loughner was a registered independent, according to the FBI. There are photoshopped "registrations" that show both Democratic and Republican registrations, but they're both false. What IS becoming clear is that Loughner was an anti-Government anarchist, a member of "American Renaissance", an anti-immigrant, anti-semitic anti-government group with strong tea party ties, and what is equally clear is that he was an adherent of the Sarah Palin inspired mantra that if you don't like something, shoot it.

Ya, the parents were isolationists and total kook jobs, let's look to the political party registered under to determine the problems!?! Unreal...Besides, how does this explain reading Mein Kampf and the fact that he worshiped obama? Everything about this guy was Democatratic/Socialist based.

A crazy person is has no idea of real politics. For heaven sake give it up. Who cares what his party affiliation is. He's crazy folks don't you get it. He could belong to the Donald Duck club it would make no difference. His mind is gone. So quit this stupid crap.

So? Contrary to many raves and stereotyping insults, not all Republicans are crazed conservatives hell-bent on destroying liberals. Some people register Republican and are actually quite moderate. And some register Republican and are conservative, but are actually decent human beings.

His political affiliation is not sufficient to draw conclusions that his attack was motivated by political ideology.

Political ideology has a long history of inciting violence. Thats why we have many laws on the books to punish hate speech.

But political ideology is not sufficient to incite violence. Many millions ascribe to extreme political ideologies without becoming violent, except perhaps in speech.

Just because he had a political ideology and was violent does not mean that the two are connected in HIM. Do not draw a false conclusion to suit your own belief system -- strive for the truth, regardless of whether it reflects well on your ideals.

One example does not prove it, since there are actually Nazis who do not cause violence. Their ideology may be abhorrent, but they do not commit crimes. You do not hear about them because they do not make the news -- because they never caused violence...

Ya, that's what I'm thinking. I wonder when that political status was last changed on that record? Probably right before taking a screen print.

All media accounts showed he was a registered independent and did not vote in the last election.

Mental Illness is so strong in this man's world. Who knows what he really thinks and believes. I condemn the things he has done, but feel for him because he needs serious help. So it wouldn't matter which party he register under. He needs to be put away in a mental hospital forever.

He is a nutjob, regardless of his official affiliations and thought he had a right to assassinate a member of the House of Representatives. We have been through these periods of right wing violence before. Rachael Maddow wondered out loud, last nigh, why the back-pack with the bomb left on the rout of the MLK march in Spokane is not getting more media attention. Spokane is 29 mile fro Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, once a center for right wing militia activity. She noted that a sheriff in the area has noticed an uptic in right wing militia type activity in the last two years, though apparently not in the form of violence, yet. There is admittedly nothing yet to connect the back pack to any right wing militia types, so it may all be coincidental. Rember the Aryan Nations and the assassination of Alan Berg, a left wing, Jewish talk show host in Denver years ago? That was pinned on the Aryan nation. Berg was a s loud and annoying at times as Rush Limbaugh, but I haven;t heard of any serious threats on Limbaugh's life, and I hope there won't be. Berg became sot of a local martyr and pretty much spelled the end of the Aryan Nations, along with a civil suir against Richard Butler, ther leader, which bankrupted them. Are they b-a-a-a-a-c-k? I think it's a fair question.

I heard a more compelling argument, and one where Tucson AZ., was spelled correctly. that Jared Loughner was an Independent. Of course, regardless how he registered, he was/is a Right-Wing Teabagger and/or Koch Sucker, a 'White-Supremest', KKK and/or John Bircher. So, I guess we know he was a little further Right than Uncles Adolf and Benito. And, he was more under the influence of Alex Jones and Glenn Beck then any other of his possible leaders. And he took instructions, from Sarah Palin. What argument do we have that he was anything else??

It doesn't matter what he believed in or who he knew. He is CRAZY! Nothing beyond that is important. Speculating about anything will not bring the dead back or fix Giffords. Loughner was an anomaly. You cannot prepare for that.

That little forgery you posted might be more of the rotten mud slinging that so many leftists are guilty of regarding this issue. Yes, they did misspell the name of the city. Tuscon vs Tucson. Did you see that? Did you take into account that the nut job killed a Republican judge too? The FBI investigation is still going on. You think they are going to post voter information right now? I’m not sure if this info is to be made public to begin with. The Presidents speech at the memorial service may have been a damage control tactic to counter this type of behavior that caused his party a lot of embarrassment. When it comes to Liberal Democrats, your dealing with a very childish and petty minded mentality. Give it up.

It's a fake, and a poorly constructed one at that. Say "Adios" to your credibility. Expect this fake voter reg. to follow you wherever you go.

The erroneous spelling of "Tucson" is just the beginning.

Chris Roads, Pima County Registrar of Voters, declares that Jared Loughner is registered as an independent. First registered in 2006. http://azstarnet.com/news/loc...

What surprises me most about the people who forge documents (like the fake Bush national guard memos) is that they do such a lousy job of it.

Sadly, hyperbolic malice and personal attack = One of the critical reasons our family left the Repub Party. Not that some others don't get bent, too. Venom is toxic. Just sayin... They see vile and violent rhetoric (which fuel reactions in the vulnerable) as another source of power and fail -- or don't care to -- to realize the ultimate price of their "passion."

Get ready for the 2012 election hate machine -- now since the S court gave them power to throw w all that Secret money behind it... As Karl Rove always said: Whatever it takes to "win." Whatever covers a lot. And peops like Loughner... all they need to launch their personal power and release their anger...
