While watching President Bush at his latest press conference I came away with some questions and I wondered how you felt about it.

I think he is trying to justify his reasons for getting the nonamnesty
amnesty bill to go through. I also fear that he is getting us prepared
for a possible "shake down" with Iran, who also released a statement
saying that "TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - Iran's hard-line president warned
Israel on Thursday that other nations in the region would "uproot" the
Jewish state if it attacked Lebanon in the summer.
"If you think that by bombing and assassinating Palestinian leaders you
are preparing ground for new attacks on Lebanon in the summer, I am
telling you that you are seriously wrong," President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad told a rally in the city of Isfahan.
"If this year you repeat the same mistake of the last year, the ocean
of nations of the region will get angry and will uproot the Zionist
    regime.""
But in all, I think it was a CYOA press release.

I didn't have a chance to listen to King George in all of his eloquence but I read the AP release and wow, business as usual.

It sure is a good thing that the American people voted in November for change.

Problem is that with their vote for a change, all they got was more of the same.

Yea its really sick. I don't have a whole lot patience for non-binding political grandstanding. I used to think Pelosi stood for something. Now that she can drive the bus she has shut down. Real shame.

For certain, when she said that she was going to "clean house", I
actually hoped that she really meant it, because there are some on both
sides that could have used a good boot, but then she put Jefferson on
the Homeland Security committee, and there went all my hopes.
