Once again the left puts their thumb on the scales with activist left-wing moderators.

Why are liberals so afraid of a fair fight?

Biden has shown up in 3 places over the last few days with a major gaffe at each. I guss telling Virginians that with the help of you Caolinans we will beat the Reps. I really don't think they thought much of that. He appears to be our best weapon. We might have to shackle him to our stage and let him help.

If, Romney wants to win and I not so sure he does, he need to expose Obama for the liberal,left-wing, socialist-communist he is. Statements like "Obama is a nice man, just over this head" won't cut it. Up to now, the 2012 election looks just like the 2008, a sell-out by the Republicans to make sure Obama wins re-election.

Yes only because there will never be true neutrality. There's bias from both sides but these moderators try to reasonably show a neutral view point. The debate format is crappy anyhow - not enough time to answer or make a counter point.

These people are IN THE TANK FOR OBAMA.

He will have the QUESTIONS in Advance of the SO CALLED DEBATES.

And we will get the PREPARED ANSWERS by his staff.

These Debates are a LIBERAL SHAM!

GOP should have some UNBIASED MODERATORS in the lineup as well.

American Citizens SHOULD BE DEMANDING unbiased individuals.

lol, if it was conservatives getting conservatives assigned, they would say that it was totally fair. Why are you all saying that the left is bias, when the right is the same way? Both sides agree with their own side. That is why it is called a side. If everyone had the same ideas and supported the same thing, we would not have left and right. You can say whatever you like, but both sides are bias to the same degree.

I agree... then how about letting one of the 4 debates be hosted by Fox News. That would at least sound a bit more balanced than what they have set up.

Because if they allowed Fox to host a debate, the viewing numbers would be so much higher that all the other nights it would be embarassing. Besides, if Obama got asked hardball questions by Bret Baier, he'd stammer and stutter and embarrass himself.

Of course the right-wing sychophants will disagree, but yes. They picked credible, journalists. I think they were good choices. I do wish they had let Jon Stewart moderate one, but otherwise, they did fine.

Let's CNN.. The worlds worst cable network. It is in danger of bankrupting because no one watches it. Yet lets have them be a moderator.

PBS Lehrer.. Left leaning. Said he would not do any more debates. Maybe Obama lent him his flip flops.

CNN Crowley recently said that the Romney-Ryan ticket “looks a little bit like some sort of ticket death wish”. Way to go.

Schieffer ""You have two very different approaches that are now out there, Schieffer said to Ryan. "The President wants to raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans… and you actually want to lower taxes on the wealthy, even lower than the Bush tax cuts which were enacted during the Bush administration… why do these rich people need another tax cut? I mean, they're already rich. They seem to be doing pretty well as it is now. Why cut their taxes some more?""

When are conservatives going to get a backbone and stand up to these idiots.

Liberal media dweebs. No journalists. Just open mouths spewing forth waste. IT is a waste of oxygen and energy to have these 3 moderating. If only the could moderate with their mouths shut.

The Lehrer comment is just silly, but let me ask you about Crowley and Schieffer.
Was Crowley's comment not accurate? I mean, Right-wingers don't like Mitt (nor it seems does anyone else) and nobody to the left of the Kaiser can stand Ryan. So isn't this campaign kind of a suicide-mission?
With Scheiffer, what was wrong with the question? Everything he said in it was true. And he gave the Congressman a chance to explain his position. That seems like a very fair question. Of course, if "what magazine do you read?" is considered a "gotcha" question, that takes just about everything off of the table, doesn't it?

I see you drank the kool aid too.

Silly yet true. So that must make Lehrer silly? Gald to see that.

    No it wasn't accurate.

    Everything was wrong with it.

My point stand. Try the Black Cherry next time I heard it is especially sweet.

Your point doesn't stand because you haven't defended it. What specifically was inaccurate in Schieffer's question? Crowley's job is to annalize. She gave an honest assessment of the ticket. And many people agree with her assessment. Would she be more credible if she said it was an unbeatable ticket, when we all know that it's a very weak one?
  • smitty elijahin24 2012/08/14 18:01:22

There is bias in their words. Sorry you fail to see it. They should be free of bias.

"So isn't this campaign kind of a suicide-mission? " See from your words. No it isn't. Damn you liberals just love to do this don't you. I guess Obama snorting a few lines of coke wasn't a suicide mission either. Or him visiting 59 states? From their terminology Obama has been on a 3 year suicide mission. The only thing keeping him around is Old Joe. They dude is too funny falling asleep for everything.

Serious, are you stepping you game up to the mystery flavor? Ooooo how dare you...

Look, troll; being fair and balanced does not mean saying nothing bad about either side. It means calling it like they see it, for better or worse. The Romney Ryan ticket serves no purpose but to elevate Ryan to national prominence, so that in 2016, he can run for the big chair. If Candy Crowly sees weakness, in EITHER campaign, she needs to say it. She has been critical of President Obama's first term. And I'm sure she will point out the weaknesses in his campaign. Right now, the Republican ticket is weak. For her NOT to point that out, would have been negligent. The same was true of the Kerry Edwards ticket in 2004. This isn't a Dems Vs. Rep's thing. It's a simple fact. Refusing to acknowledge it, doesn't make you less biased. It makes you a sychophant.

Ha! You are calling me a troll? I pointed out specifics and gave quotes. I am sorry you pea sized brain can't comprehend that.

If you are doing a debate you need an impartial moderator. Why don't they but Rush on one of them then? Ha I bet Obama wouldn't show.

"Romney Ryan ticket serves no purpose but to elevate Ryan to national prominence," Big deal what it does. What the hell is Biden good for the boy is a complete joke. We were just talking at lunch. A VP has never helped a President before.

Candy Crowel is on the worst news station in the history of cable tv. Woot! That really ups here credentials. Hell put snoopy on there..

The republican ticket is not weak. The democratic ticket is the weakest it has been since I don't know.. Carter ran a second term? I don;t see anyone throwing that out there. I am sure someone is going to ask Obama about throwing 500 billion at Solyndra and ask him how many of the lobbyists he put on the dol..

Please.. troll. Dude you funny. You make me laugh.

"She has been critical of President Obama's first term." As you say. Simply.. Put up or Shut up. Now show me.
