Mitt Romney was pleasant and engaging. Barack Obama harangued everybody, as if he were in a factory or airplane hangar, as he usually is while on the stump. Mitt Romney knew how to speak to a hostile crowd (and moderator). Barack Obama couldn't even win any points with friendlies.

Everyone's talking about the Benghazi Attack business. And yes, it shows that Obama can't keep his story straight, and neither can the mainstream media.

But the real Question of the Day came from the young man who asked, "What have you done for me lately? Because I don't see it."

Obama's failure to answer that question, and Romney's willingness to reach out to him and offer him a way out, were priceless, both each alone and in combination.

I liked this moment when Obama had tried to hold Romney's investments in China and Romney turned it on him, by asking him if he's looked at his pension plan lately. Obama tried to laugh the question off but Romney wouldn't back down knowing full well that most people who have retirement accounts have a least on investment in China. Obama tried to brush him off by saying mines smaller than yours. LOL, yes Obama in more ways than one.

This is Obama's uh oh, I just stepped in it smile.

I agree, Romney didn't give his all. So, let's see, BO managed about five extra minutes thanks to the "unbiased" (ROFLMAO!!!) moderator (another LMAO) Crowly. BO interrupted more times than Romney did, although at least one contributor here can't count past 10. And when BO couldn't answer questions, Crowly to the rescue! the worst part, while lib-tards think Romney was rude, was when Crowly interrupted with her factless fact-sheet and took Obama's side. That's when Romney should have done a Chris Christie on the truly rude, glutinous, Obama-minion.

So, with everything against him, it's easy to say he lost. However, if "facts" are part of the debate and you add substance, it's a Romney win, hands down.

Fact sheet? She had the speech, so Obama gives her all the ammunition she needed to jump in an save him. I find it funny too that Romney could hold his own under a tag team debate and still best Obama.

Even a draw or small point victory for Obama is a defeat for him as he needed to win by as much as Romney did two weeks ago. After the debate 65% of independent voters favored Romney in managing the economy while 34% picked Obama in a CBS poll. The economy is THE major issue. Unless Obama can cook up something else in the next two weeks to focus American's attention away from the economy he's finished.

Edited to correct the percentage favoring Romney's management of the economy. It's 65%, not 64%

Not of a free, differing opinion as I shared, but "mindless" because I don't think like you.... It never fails to amaze me at how the left always pleads for tolerance, but as soon as you disagree with them they immediately resort to the defeated wits last resort: Name calling.

Neither won. We're not really getting true debates anymore, just well rehearsed speeches that their handlers wrote for them. Plus, it looked like a scene out of Idiocracy - I won't be surprised if in a couple years candidates start arm wrestling for the WH.

Just saw a Romney aide predict the next debate will be different than the last one. Do you suppose he thinks Romney won the last debate? Check out the Obama and Romney families running up on the stage after the 2 debates. The look on Ann Romneys face after the last debate was one of pure agony.

Two weeks ago gallup said Romney was eight pts back and boy did the liberals crow and quote poll numbers often. Then there was the first debate and Romney, befor you knew it was up by two, then all hopes were on Joe, after that R/R was up by four, and then we had debate number two and the media said it was Obamas evening that night ,however two days later Romney is now six points up. Now who won the last debate?

The CBS poll of approximately 500 undecided voters had Obama at 37%, Romney at 30% and draw at 33%. Contrast that with the first debate that had Romney ahead by 70% to 30% and Obama needed a HUGE win to balance things out. He clearly did not get that.

Additionally, the same CBS poll had Romney at 64%, Obama at 34% on confidence in managing the economy. Some topics carry more weight than others. If democrats are correct with their mantra that IT'S ABOUT THE ECONOMY STUPID!, Then I'd say Romney won on the issue that will be most important in the voting booth.

Managing a country and managing a corporation are two completely different things, and just because he can manage a corporation does not give him diddly experience in gettting a country on track economically. If people believe the polls on this topic they are misinformed.

Romney managed a state to balanced budgets every year. Education in MA ranked number one in the country under Romney. Obama's sole experience was as a "community organizer". Next to playing over 100 rounds of golf Obama didn't even vote "present" over the last four years. The only significant legislation passed was delegated to Pelosi and Reid. He's lazy and has displayed zero leadership.

Romney is going to retire him on November 6th. Get used to saying President Romney.

Gallup just came out with a new poll: Romney 52% Obama 45%. That's a 7 point lead with a margin of error of +/- 2%.

I used to do some sports betting in Vegas when my father lived there but it's been a long time. I copy pasted a result. Help me interpret what they are saying. I read it as Romney is odds-on favorite: I don't bet on presidential elections but tell me where I've gone wrong.

    Odds

Barack Obama 2/5 I read that as bet 40 cents get a buck if Obama wins.

Mitt Romney 15/8 I read this as bet a 1.875 and get a buck if Romney wins.

This is a British betting site as the denominations were pounds sterling.

Romney had Obama on the defensive the entire debate, and Obama had his ass saved by Crowley, another lwnj and still could not deliver any leadership or future vision for America.
