Mr & Mrs Romney began their married life living in a basement rented for $62.00 per month, had three kiddos there and Mrs R remembers him getting his first paycheck with the birth of their third child. She has Multiple Sclerosis , had breast cancer, raised 5 children and is a life partner to her husband. NO LIFE EXPERIENCES OR IMAGINATION. A self-made man who gave his entire inheritance to charity, took no salary for his very hard work for the Olympics and still has managed to be hugely successful?

Come on, Jackie, give it a rest. Mr and Mrs Romney began their married life with more money already in the bank than the average American makes in a lifetime. You'd think that would be obvious since they had three children before Mitt actually EARNED anything. As I've posted numerous times, I don't criticize Mrs. Romney for the lifestyle she chose, and I do admire and acknowledge the fact that she raised five apparently healthy and well adjusted children. But one thing she does NOT know is what it's like to struggle. She chose not to get a job outside the home. Most women these days don't have that choice to make. She has no idea what it's like to balance a budget. She's never had to decide whether to buy some extra food or another pair of shoes (but not both) for her kids. She's never had to say the words "we can't afford it". She is as disconnected from what average Americans have to go through on a daily basis to keep their family whole as her husband is. Again, she's entitled to live whatever lifestyle she chooses. It's just time for her to stop pretending she's something she's not.

No one hates success, and no one hates homemakers. The only real objection anyone has about Mrs. Romney is that she has no idea what it's like to struggle to raise a family and pretends that she does. Remember when George HW Bush was campaigning in 1992 and had never seen a bar code reader before? That's the same kind of life Mrs. Romney has led. And no one has claimed that a "skid row bum" has a better take on life. What people have accurately observed is that someone who has never had to struggle is not in a position to understand what it's like to struggle.

So only those that struggle are the only ones that understand the world? Then we best boot Obama butt immediately. Movie stars have no clue about people in need, rich have no clue about poverty, and only those who have faced the exact same struggle understand struggle Then we need the entire congress, president and that dope Biden to step down immediately - What a completely absurd notion.

I volunteer at a homeless shelter, I have never been homeless - you think I am unable to identify with these people, I am so out of touch because I have not been homeless that I have no clue what they are facing? What a closed minded idea
