America is made up of all different 'types' of people.
He's acknowledging Cinco de Mayo this year just like he did last year. He's a respectful person who is aware America is a 'melting pot'. Unlike a lot of the bubbas that frequent this place.
He's acknowledged Ramadan, St. Patrick's Day, Hannukah etc...
