lol, you "conservatives" have been right so often in the past. Lets see Clinton's tax insease was suppose to result in an economic decline second to none. Then GW's tax cuts for the rich (aka Voodoo economics) was suppose to result in a great depression. umm neither came true in fact the opposite happened. learn some history and economics. A society cannot survive with the rich getting richer and the poor poorer.

I think I'd agree with "Bail" in the sense (if that's what he meant) that you saying "mean streak" is a good thing for Mr. Obama is not really fully a good thing. I'm being subtle here--as I think "mean" is bad, while "assertive" is good; and I agree with you that Mr. Obama has not been assertive enough sometimes. I hope he does better in the campaign.

I agree. President Obama has been one of the best U.S. Presidents we have had. I also found JFK to have many of the above traits also, but I admired John Kennedy for the powerful men he chose to guide him. One trait I don't like about President Obama; he often backs off easily to compromise, when he should hold his ground.
