+10The Bush administration had a plan called "Wide Receiver" the guns were marked with tracking devices and the Mexican govt, knew about it. There were problems with the tracking and the plan was scrapped. Obama's plan had no tracking devices and the Mexican govt. knew NOTHING about it. Obama is a God Damn LIAR, "Fast and Furious" is his plan and no one else. All he's doing is trying to cover his useless ass and blame Bush as usual, it's all he's got when he can't play the race card.
With the O'bummer administration, there was no control, the weapons were handed out at random and nobody new where they went.
BUSH worked within the Law with the permission,, approval and cooperation of the Mexican Government... Obama did NOT.. This arming of a force HOSTILE to the host Government was not only ill advised,, it was a BREACH of International LAW.. Mexico Lodged a Protest..
There IS no Death count with Bush's operation.. We ALL know the costs of Obama's..
The guns from F & F are not "Obama's", but belong to us - you and me, those who allow the free trade and peddling of them to anyone who has a desire and a driver's license for identity. One officer was killed with one of the weapons that could be traced to F & F. As we know, guns don't kill people, and the border guard was killed by a druggie attempting to cross into Arizona.
If you want to count "deaths", we will begin with 8,000+ of our children killed in Iraq, and more than 200,000 Iraqui non combatants killed as "collateral damages" to our invasion begun by George and Dick. 208,000 : 1. Want to make some more nonsense allegations about "International Law"?
There were enough MAJOR differences between the two operationss,, separated by THREE YEARS,, to JUSTIFY a conclusion that they weren't even similar to each other beyond the fact that Mexico and Guns were involved.. THERE the similarities end..
Obama is a BALDFACED LIAR,, as USUAL,, when he makes the claim as are ANY one of his Drone Followers who utter the SAME LIES..
Besides.. Saddam's Iraq was NOT an ALLY of America as Mexico is..
As for "numbers" the count of Americans alone is 8,000 and climbing. For the Iraqis, the count is estimated somewhere between 200,000 and 500,000 but no records were kept or graves counted. Want to hear how many legs, arms, and minds were left on the sand there?

Bush's program was suspended in 2007 when the data showed that the bad guys realized the tracking and they removed the tracking #s on the gun.

I'd explain why the "Wide Reciever" and "Fast and Furious" operations,, separated by almost THREE YEARS,, had NOTHING to DO with each other and WHY they were so different in execution,, like the notification,, permission and cooperation of the Mexican Government in the case of the Bush operation but ABSENT with Obama's ,, but I suspect the TRUTH is of little interrest to you..
