President Obama discusses the urgent need for Congress to act now on two common sense measures to help middle class families: preventing interest rates on federal student loans from going up and putting hundreds of thousands of construction workers back on the job.

That's what a study I asked Congress' Joint Economic Committee to prepare just concluded -- and what the nonpartisan experts at the Tax Policy Center found, too.
It's a deceptive plan to drastically reduce taxes for the rich and make it look like your tax rate would go down, too -- while actually eliminating things the middle class counts on, like tax breaks for employer-provided health insurance, mortgage interest, state and local taxes, and retirement savings.

The student loan program can be straightened out starting with removing it as a funding source for Obamacare. Yes, that is where student loan profits go.
What is the federal gas tax supposed to do,pay for upkeep of roads but our leaders always find other ways to spend the money.
Student loans are now under the fed government thanks to Obama and interest rates will sky rocket.
The Transportation bill places every thing unde rthe PSA and no person can escape the cold hands of Illegal Aliens feeling up American Women./ I am rather sick and tired of something the Arabs find a Laugh and circumvent everyday of the Year.
Student loan debt now exceeds credit card debt.
You cannot grow the economy and cut economic growth at the same time. Politicians on both sides know all about this double think situation. Republicans know they are killing the economy.
It is like a businessman with stagnating business who is too afraid to invest in new business. You don't get paid for sitting on the fence.
Another example is tensing every muscle in your body, then trying to throw a punch. The punch might work but it will not be very effective or powerful.
Or a guy who is never prepared enough to ask that girl he likes out on a date. The situation is a non-starter; never has, never will.
