How is he taking credit for someone else's work any more than any other president during wartime?

....."Once again, taking credit for someone else's work."....

And yet, here you are, giving credit to Bush. If Obama doesn't deserve any credit, then you're being a wee bit hypocritical to credit Bush, don't you think?

Who organized the intelligence network that found binladen? Not obama.

    Well, it sure wasn't Bush.

Then find out who and give them the credit. But, don't defend obama's strutting around like some armchair quarterback that thinks their yelling at the TV won the game. He had a small part in the process and even that took him 16 hours to do.

You're starting to sound like a broken record with the "16 hours to decide" nonsense. You know as well as I do that this was more than yelling at the tv to win the game. Instead, what you're doing is trying to claim that the players on field are the only ones who deserve the recognition, even though, they're executing what the coach instructs them to do. BOTH parts deserve some credit.... And instead, you choose to praise the coach who was let go after several failing seasons, and had nothing to do with the current game.... That is, if you really want to turn this into a sports analogy.

Under his watch, we got Bin Laden. And with use of drones, we have killed 20 of the 30 highest ranking members of Al Qaeda's leadership. This is a tremendous showing of success.

Obama's current policies of appeasement and bowing to the real terrorists across the globe have increased the growth of terrorism and tyrants.
Unfortunately, the mistakes of his four year term will likely create a mess for future presidents and more wars to come. The danger of nuclear war in the middle east, the massive death toll in Syria, the handover of Afghanistan to al Queda and Egypt to the Muslim brotherhood, and the race baiting that has led to more crime in our own country increases the likelihood that Americans will once again be victims of terrorism.

Wrong... It was Bush who shut down the bin laden unit. Bush's "path" caused the search for him to take much longer than it ever should have.

Nothing new? Bush gave up on looking for bin laden. He even admitted that he doesn't "spend that much time on him". And it's already a known fact that the waterboarding methods used by the Bush administration, not only did nothing to aid in finding bin laden, but actually hindered efforts to find him.

Bush did nothing, that is his official statement. What are you trying to say ? Bush should have NEVER been President, you're defending a totally worthless person, he disgraced the office of POTUS, end of case.

Not defending Bush at all, just not giving the credit to the vapid suit currently occupying the White House. This accomplishment was the result of the military and our intelligence community, there is no oval office credit to be had. From my assessment the last 6 presidents have disgraced the office for leading us further and further from the constitution.

You bet, and it is killing the Republicans who have lost their winning demagoguery that Democrats are soft on terror which they deftly used in swift boating John Kerry in 2004.

Romney's two top foreign policy advisors now are the ones that media appeared for 5 years telling us all how wonderful the Iraq war was. No credibility there.

That is about the size of it. Obama taking credit for other people's work while ignoring his own job.
Binladen being killed while he was in office is merely coincidental. High gas prices, high unemployment, increased food stamp usage and increased national debt are still being ignored by his administration.

No it is not coincidental. He authorized the killing of Osama. Without his approval it wouldn't have happened.

Of which he took 16 hours to make up his mind. Even then he left some room for someone else to take the blame had the operation went bad.

He had the b@lls to MAKE the decision. To go into a neutral country and do it! If it had gone badly the responsibility would have fallen completely on his shoulders, regardless of how the Navy SEALS performed. People like you would have been relentless with your criticism but it went very well and you still can't give him any credit. I wasn't a fan of Bush but would have been a decent enough human to give him credit for succeeding. Are you so full of hate you can't even do that? Shame on you!!

Guess you are not a decent enough human that you can't give credit where credit is due. A psychologist would say that reflects more about you then it does President Obama or his actions. He snuffed out Osama bin Laden a very courageous move, and if you can't see that you're a very small, shallow person and I pity you. I have no regrets in voting for Obama and will certainly do so again. I could have voted for McCain until he chose a dimwit like Sarah Palin as his running mate. President Obama has done more against terrorism than Bush ever did. He's been far more effective than Bush and has whittled away the 10 Most Wanted terrorist list. It's obvious you are just a hater and I will not waste my time arguing with you when you have no facts to support your claims....only hate!

What exactly makes him "tough on terrorism"? Spending 16 hours to make a decision that shouldn't have taken 16 seconds?

You can't really be that disingenuous, can you? First of all, the decision to take him out, is not what took 16 hours... It was deciding on which method- out of a handful of options- to choose. As well as carrying out the order & confirming that they had the correct target, and making sure he was dead.

What decision, other than yes or no, can a community organizer from Chicago make?
He has no military experience and his diplomacy stems from his ability to bend at the hips.
