Don't forget a tax rate of 17%, the lowest is 50 years, for all of us. Yes, even the Republicans who will read this and ignore it.

You are a funny man. Obama had both houses under his control for 2/3 of his term, including a filibuster-proof senate. that is how they managed to pass Obamacare at midnight on Christmas despite the American people being overwhelmingly opposed to it.

For the last part of his term he lost control of the house but still owns the senate. The only mountains he's managed to move is those Americans who actually want to work for their food and housing into the unemployment lines!

So I guess that's why the Right Wing keeps repeating the big lies, like:

    1. Obama has spent more than all the other Presidents combined
    2. Obama has doubled the national debt
    3. The stimulus failed
    4. The Health Care Reform Law is a "government takeover"
    5. Obama wants to eliminate the work requirement for welfare eligibility
    6. Obama wants to keep military servicemen from voting
    7. Obama doesn't believe that businessmen built their own business

and of course the old favorites....

    8. Obama was born in Kenya
    9. Obama is a Muslim
    10. Obama is a communist/marxist/socialist (the Right Wing thinks they're interchangeable)

The Republicans and the right-wing have consistently shown themselves to be shameless liars -- vile individuals for whom there's no act too low for them to stoop to doing, despite the fact that, according to them, they stand for "Family Values"... only, they don't mention that the "family" whose values they stand for are the values of a Mafia-don's "crime family", or those infamous elitists, the "Family on 'C' Street", led by madman-&-brainwasher-in-c... Rev. Doug Coe... another Jim Jones-in-the-making!

5 million more people unemployed now than the day he took office yet there are those who claim "job creation".

Debt is 73% of GDP and going up and you think this is a good thing.

Smallest growth in government?...this is as ridiculous a claim as the alleged job creation.

Your post proves that higher math should be left to those who are qualified.....LIKE ROMNEY

Wrong as usual. The total number of unemployed peaked in October, 2009, at the end of Bush's last fiscal year and just as the funds from the stimulus were starting to take hold (and the unemployment rate reached 10.1%. The number of people unemployed in the US peaked in October 2009 at 15,421,000. There are now 2,627,000 fewer people unemployed in the country.

Run along PP...you wouldn't know a true fact if it bit you.

    Official unemployed - 12,613,609
    Actual unemployed - 23,091,713

Nice spin at the numbers however. Of course you fail to acknowledge the 1 million people that were taken out of unemployment numbers to cook the books a few months back.

Gotta love the way the liberals and you cook the books however. If someone quits a job to accept another you count the new job as a job added regardless of whether or not the job they quit was filled with another person. If a manufacturer lets an employee transfer to another plant you count that as a job added.
Let me explain it to you in a way that MAYBE (I doubt it however) even an Obama lover like you can understand. Until the number of employed people reaches the level it was when Odumbass took office there is NO JOB CREATION ONLY JOB REPLACEMENT.

Here's another way that may help you understand....If you invest $20,000.00 and lose $10,000.00 you lost money. Even if you make $5,000.00 after the initial loss you still have LOST MONEY although I know in your mathematically challenged mind you would say you made $5,000 the minute the 5k showed up on a statement.
Everyone except you knows and understands the truth but hey, you believe that Obama only added 1.5 trillion to the debt and the ...

Actually, there are currently more people employed in the private sector than there were at the Bush low point. It is Right Wing attacks on the public sector more than anything else that have slowed our recovery.

Here's some "bottom line business" for you to consider:

You own a business. On August 1 you use the corporate credit card to run up a few trillion dollars in new charges. With me so far? OK, now on August 2 you resign from the company and a new CEO named Obama takes over. On August 3 the credit card bill for trillions of dollars comes in.

Now here's the question, "businessman" --> who's to blame for the trillions in debt on the company's books on August 4?

I never voted for George W. Bush. I prefer job gains to job losses, and I prefer working for the best interests of all Americans to working only for the best interests of the one percent. I also prefer (and I hope you'll agree, given your screenname) that a President not send thousands of brave members of the American military into a ground war in a desert that had no justification, no strategy, no plan, and not even the equipment (like body armor) that those soldiers needed to stay alive. I prefer a President who ends wars to one who starts them, who works with our allies instead of insulting them, and who manages to accomplish the nation's objectives without the careless wasting of the lives of our brave military men and women.

We've been recovering from the Republicans' deliberate "spend-&-charge" agenda, which racks up the deficits they need in order to go around later, wielding the axe, screaming at the top of their voices: "Emergency; Austerity needed! -- Deficits & the National Debt out-of-control!" when the Democrats get elected... because nothing gladdens a mean-spirited right-winger's heart like cruelly causing pain & suffering to those most in need. They wrap themselves in their religion, "like a mummy in a cloth", and rave about Godless secularism, while they conveniently forget the words of the One they call their Savior: "Verily, I say unto you, what you haven't done for these least among you, you haven't done for me." Considering that President Obama has faced larger, more organized, better funded obstructionist opposition to anything and everything he tries to do for this country than anyone in American history (including George III), the fact that he has already accomplished more good for this nation than almost all of his predecessors is nothing less than miraculous.
