President Barack Obama signs a bill that will help improve access to health care for veterans, streamline VA services, expand support for homeless veterans, and also provide extended medical care for veterans and their families who were based in Camp Lejeune in the years the water was contaminated there, and prohibit protesting at military funerals. August 6, 2012.

I would imagine he feels compelled to do something for our Vets after kicking the vietnam era Vets in the nutsack with how He and his wife are honoring Hanoi Jane Fonda with 100 Greatest woman of the century and Patriot of the Year respectively.

and yet he is filing a lawsuit to overturn a law allowing the military currently active to have a few extra days to vote during the election. It takes more time to get ballots from overseas then it does here in the states and he isn't going to allow that. So men and women who are fighting for freedom for us all to vote wont be given that same opportunity. Yeah.. great president we have.

Did you actually know that obama care will actually restrict some of the current healthcare that Vets are receiving and limit their care? but i'm sure you have an answer for that like it may not matter or everyone will have limited care or some other bunch of nonsense.

How does he plan to expand support for homeless by providing jobs to illegals and putting more people on wellfare?

No he is not filing a lawsuit to stop early voting. His lawsuit is against a new law that would end early voting for all people. Do some research.

You are incorrect on this one. Ohioans all had same time to vote early. Republicans took aways some early days from non-military. Obama's team wants them to reinstate these days.

No effect on military at all.

Yea right....if he really wanted to help all our vets then why did he sign a executive order that will give most of the jobs that could be taken by our home coming vet to illegals what a bunch of B***s***

This is a great deal but it is one that should not have to be done since the laws and facilities were already in place! We need for the people in our government(especially the VA and military) to do their jobs and support our Vets and active personnel as well!

While I support any bill that helps Veterans, no matter what party/president passes/signs it, you can't help but love the timing on this one.

Now I don't know when this bill was proposed and I'm not going to pretend to that I know how long it takes to get things like this done, but again, gotta love the timing. That being said, this was long overdue.
