POTENTIAL COMMUNIST SLEEPER CELLS? GOP MEMBERS BEHAVING LIKE (OR WHO ARE) SOCIALISTS OR PROGRESSIVE.

What is actually fascism is often confused to be socialism or communism because the most famous and abhorrent cases of fascism have actually occurred under the name of "National Socialism".

It is important to note, however, that Fascism was created by Benito Mussolini after he was kicked out of the Socialist Party for encouraging nationalism. In that sense, the name of "National Socialism" is somewhat fitting, but Fascism is not Socialism but rather a complete adulteration of capitalism which, in Mussolini's own words, effectively combines state and corporate power.

We currently exist in a fascist society. It will be many years until we see anything like what terrors had occurred in the past under the name of National Socialism, if ever we will. So who is to blame for our gradual implementation of fascism. Certainly it must be the radical right, so deeply in bed with their "free markets" and corporate private interests; right?

Incorrect. The radical right, and their counterparts in the Libertarian Party, are the extreme minority attempting to prevent the implementation of fascism in our country. There are a handful of democrats and moderate republicans who are also, less directly, fighting it; but they are an even more extreme minority. The establishment of both major parties have no interest in protecting your rights or ensuring your prosperity, only using their own influence to enrich themselves at our expense through corporate welfare programs, selective regulation to favor special interests, bailouts and stimulus spending, inflationary monetary policy, overseas adventurism; all of these are economic aspects of fascism.

He knew what he was getting into, he knew we had two wars, a potential depression and a divided electorate. I think he was naive when he tried to fulfill his campaign promise to work with the GOP on solutions instead of ramrod things through, had the GOP won with the mandate the Dems had in both Congress and the Presidency they wouldn't have offered that. He should have taken a harder line, but he is a moderate, no matter how the right tries to paint him otherwise. The GOP is abusing cloture, which is only supposed to be used in extreme circumstances like the veto, which bush abused. I think out president thought our problems were greater than party but should have gotten a clue when they said they want him to fail. Our founding fathers never talked about parties until after they became politicians and not revolutionaries, I wouldn't mind a proportional congress like England Parliament and other countries where they are forced to come up with coalition governments. Our constitution is an experiment, they did say that and they gave us the ability to modify them, they called the first ten the bill of rights but, they can be repealed, I hope not, but they can be, or modified....like the second amendment......no one should own a frigging M-60 heavy machine gun.....it should be clarified....I ONLY BLOCK PEOPLE WHO RESORT TO PERSONAL INSULTS....I encourage different opinions but liberal or conservative or Buddhist or Catholic...if you begin by calling someone a moron or an idiot or just attack a person then I don't tolerate it, I usually give them a chance to remove the comments, especially my friends and some do, but from the worst cons I get who are you to tell me how to act, well if it my poll then it is my right to set the rules. so if you don't violate the code of conduct you have no worries about being blocked by me. Like Obamacare, people like to say most of America is not happy with, but they distort the truth yes most of America feels it fell short of what we really needed. and no way do they support the GOP plan. A third party would be great, the Democrats are sort of several parties mixed into one, a coalition, because you have labor, gay rights, women, minorities, environmentalists etc...that is why it is like herding cats.....the GOP would have gotten their membership to walk in goose step and pass all their agenda.
