Polls change rapidly and they really can't predict an election. One week the incumbent will be ahead; the other week, the challenger will be ahead. Yogi Berra said, "It ain't over until it is over."

This year the two candidates will spend over $2 Billion on media advertising between now and election day. Unless their candidacy is declared important and "close", the donations to the lesser would dry up. The media has a financial stake in each of them, sucking in the donations with the description of a great race, and selling the advertising for great profits. Welcome to American politics, as brought to you by your favorite public corporations. The whole game is 90% about money, money now, money later, money
for Wall Street, money for Fox, money for CNN, money, money, your money, your money either now or later.
