  • Gallup: Romney is starting to close in on Obama, trailing by only 2 points in the seven-day rolling average. And that average only reflects two days of surveys post-debate, so the full effect won't be known until next Wednesday.
  • Rasmussen: Rasmussen has had wild swings and tends to be Republican-leaning this election, but Romney holds a 2-point advantage here.
  • Reuters/Ipsos: Here, the race has tightened from a 6-point Obama lead pre-debate to only a dead heat on Friday.
  • Swing States: Florida: Two polls — from Rasmussen and We Ask America — found Romney in the lead here on Friday by 2 and 3 points, respectively. Both polling firms tend to lean Republican.
Virginia: The same two firms — again, leaning Republican — found Romney with 1- and 3-point leads, respectively.
Colorado: After Obama slipped up in the debate at the University of Denver, he saw a big, 7-point swing in this state in a Gravis Marketing survey. Romney now leads 49-46, after trailing 50-46 pre-debate.
Wisconsin: This is the big one that should worry Obama. The Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling found that Obama's lead had tightened from 7 points in its last survey to just 2 points post-debate. The reason for that is almost exclusively debate-related — 61 percent of Wisconsin voters thought Romney won the debate, compared with just 25 percent who saw Obama winning.

People might like the 0's words but they are starting to wake up to the fact they may never work again if he is re-elected, let alone be able to go to the doctor.

On top of that, all the 0's executive orders, they are starting to understand that the 0 considers them his enemy.

Without reading off his teleprompter and having people whispering in his ear of what to say, Obama is nothing but an empty suit, after watching Romney debated him, I have more confident in Romney then ever before, Romney is a Leader, Obama is a Liberal media made puppet.

Polls, LOL !! Reagan was trailing Carter according to the polls. Reagan won 49 states. If Obama is ahead in these polls, why is he having to send Bill Clinton in to help him?? polls are skewed

Romney has lost the post debate as he was found to be lying many times. He will not get away with that in a town hall debate unless the crowd is fixed.

ditto; now we hear that Reuters did not report that Mitt Romney's plan to lower taxes on the rich would be paid for by a middle class tax hike, the $5Trillion was totally made-up; Reuters adamantly denies that but will the MSM report that?

Wouldn't it be cool if Obama has some liquid-personality (beer) before this debate so that he has a voice to go with that swagger!? Maybe he could pull a Justin Beiber and puke himself off the stage when he wants the moderator to change the subject!! LOL
Romney's going to win just in experience alone but armed with the facts of the last 4 years and Obama's personal and professional record, he's gonna knock him out!!

Obama had a much better chance in the first debate. The next debate is on foreign and domestic policy. With the Middle East coming apart right now, how is Obama going to come up with anything positive to say about his policies?

Well, for example Obama might say, "Dead ambassador? Aw hell...that's just another bump in the road."

Obama knows nothing if not his audience. His Pied Piper minions don't give a rat's ass about dead ambassadors. One could even extrapolate that Obama offered up the US ambassador as a sort of sacrificial lamb to pay for Tripoli's disgraceful reference in the Marine's Hymn.

      Consider:
      1. Requested security increases--denied.
      2. Security increase not just denied--it was DECREASED.
      3. Requested aircraft--denied.
      4. Ambassador Stevens' last trip was supposed to be confidential.
      5. The Muslim terrorists ambushed them at their SAFE HOUSE.
      6. Obama responded by scolding AMERICANS.

Foreign policy? Sure...Obama's foreign policy is for Americans to submit to Sharia Law and/or kill themselves.

LOL...conservatives aren't believing the polls when Obama's ahead (which has been most of 2012), but all of a sudden they "believe" the polls showing Romney catching up (but still behind) Obama.

Make up your minds...do you believe in the polls or not, or only when it's convenient for you?

I think that Obama was caught off guard by Romney software patch ver3.0, everyone skinning him alive about first debate performance. He should adjust for windage and distance...line him up...squeeze trig..."pink Mitts". My prediction, not as demolishing as a two debate win streak but a victory next time.

Obama has never been good with issues and facts in this type setting. t's even worse now because of his failed record---he is just a good speech giver where he can't be questioned. Expect more of the same.

What type of setting? You mean a presidential debate setting...like 2008 debate setting...like debating Hillary, McCain..type of debate setting...where facts and policy is debated? Yeah, he's never done well there...not like he won those debates.

We've had attacks on our embassies resulting in murdered American citizens, deaths of American military in Afghanistan have skyrocketed since Obama became president and there's a good chance that a war between Israel and Iran is imminent. How do you think Obama has any chance in the next debate when the topic is foreign and domestic policy? His policies there have probably failed as bad as his economic policies.
