By more than 2-1, 63%-29%, those surveyed say Romney's background in business, including his tenure at the private equity firm
Bain Capital, would cause him to make good decisions, not bad ones, in dealing with the nation's economic problems over the next four years

They can't handle the truth!!!!! Obama had for over 3 years complete veto proof control of all three branches and did nothing but pass a so-called health bill that 68% of the nation did not want....they all wanted the job market and the national debt fixed

Why not, we've already tried the guy with absolutely no experience who thought he could "surround" himself with the right people as if that is all that is required of being President. Guess that's what we get when we put someone in charge who didn't care enough as a Senator to educate himself, and understand the debt ceiling, before voting against raising it under Bush (then lit people's hair on fire over it calling him "unpatriotic"-has he apologized for casting the first stone over that) Especially since HIS democratic house & senate could not PRIORITIZE the national debt & value of the dollar and instead decided to throw another entitlement program onto the fire thinking somehow it seemed like a good idea. So much for being "shocked" over "the mess he inherited"! Who does that? Someone NOT focused on the economy.

Obama has made it painfully clear that he has no idea what it takes to run and grow a business. We clearly need a change and Romney will certainly be an improvement. We desperately need to transform the anti-business, anti-right to earn a living attitudes of the present administration.

Since most people havent a clue as to History they tend to think that the economy will improve with a republican. The problem with that is HIS policies wont work in the situation we are in and they will bring back the debacle that was bush. What I wouldnt give to have a Federal Mandate to have high school kids have at least one semester of economics and civics.

You forget how Bush had dems leading the house and senate for the last two years of his last term, and how the dems where SCREAMING against regulating fannie & Freddie in 2004 (Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Meeks). And it began when banks didn't want to be forced to lend to people who did not qualify for loans- and they were afraid of getting attacked by the Federal Gov for discrimination. The Gov with the help of groups like ACORN, CREATED these "risky" loans, and guaranteed them. Under Clinton, in '98, the banks were forced to give even higher risk loans. And they ACKNOWLEDGED there would be a higher rate of default. Clinton openly criticizes the Dems in congress for resisting regulation increases now. Remember, the elections last time around cleaned house, now we need to clean the Senate. And I'm a dem! A fiscal dem!

Not this sh1t again. OK here is the bottom line. IF it was on the Dem's in Congress can they sign a bill into LAW?? NO THEY CANT. IF the President signed a law into place knowing it was going to ruin the economy IMO that TREASON. Now once again is bush guilty of TREASON?? The bottom line is responsibility is on the man that signed the bill into law.

Who is in charge of creating budgets? Can the President do it alone? Can he override the Congress? NO, but THEY CAN override him. Interesting to see how you hold Bush accountable, but I betcha now you are complaining about the Congress as to why poor little hard working Obama can't get anything done. Can't have it both ways dude. Ask yourself "why didn't they raise taxes on the rich in '08"? Were they stupid? Forgetful? Just being nice? They had a full power play---> Dem House, Dem Senate, PLUS Obama. But you want to believe they inherited a mess-- interesting way to deal with it IF that was what the case was. It's like if you're in debt, you're figuring out how to pay it off, and you justify buying a Mercedes Benz "because I got to get to work". Ridiculous. Whatever dude. I'd rather have a Mitt Romney who can put his personal stuff aside to work with a HUGELY democratically represented state like Massachusetts, and get what the PEOPLE want done, than to play king and have them pass things, and just blow people's representatives off by not allowing votes like Harry Reid in the Senate-- and Obama clearly is Ok with this...because he doesn't ask the passed bills to be voted on like "his democratically passed health care bill". He's a hypocrite. He doesn't care that you don't get it, in fact he probably laughs at all you followers who don't get it, or know what Harry Reid is doing. He tells you what you need to know, and banks on the fact that you won't question it--- just like with the health care bill no one knew what was inside, and just like when he was against the debt ceiling, but as a Senator didn't give a crap enough to educate himself to understand why he was against it, OR call on Dems to do something about it. That's why he was famous for voting "present", and asked to have 6 votes changed because he doesn't do homework, he isn't a "problem solver", he's a picker of people, tells them to solve it, but does no foot work himself. IF he worked HALF as hard to pass a budget, as he has his campaign, imagine what he could have accomplished. So Sad.

Civics 101. If a bill makes it through Congress and sits on the Presidents desk can it become LAW WITHOUT HIS SIGNATURE?? No it cant. Resposibility stands ONLY with the person that signs that bill and that is the President. Now why are you trying to rewrite the bottom line. Bush was one of the worse and provably will be for some time to come. Even Forbes/WSJ admits it. One last thing did you know that C/SPAN took a poll of historians to rank the best vs the worse presidents in history?? Bush ranked 36. Here is the proof:

DID I SAY IT OTHERWISE? You are dodging my point just to believe what you want to believe. Go ahead, IGNORE the fact that UNTIL the Congress passes a bill it can't BE signed. IGNORE the people who CREATED the bills. I guess having an incompetent president is BETTER than one who helped Dems spend us into Oblivion? I didn't vote for BUSH- either time. SO, I have NO interest in making Bush innocent. I have INTEREST in making the DEMS I VOTED FOR ACCOUNTABLE. I will not be a mindless puppet like you. Sorry. I give Bush credit for working with Congress. Obama can only dream about that. But look where working with Dems got us. I'm GLAD the republicans are standing their ground. It's bad enough Obama doesn't know where a good chunk of his new entitlement is gonna come from as far as it being paid for. I guess we'll just borrow for that too. Wait til China says NO to giving us the trillion every year we HAVE to borrow to operate the gov. Watch the DEMS straighten up REAL quick as to who is "disabled"...and who should contribute to taxes. Should be interesting. But I bet you don't worry about making ends meet. Just blaming someone for the crap in their back yard when yours is piled a mile high.

No, you were holding Bush accountable for being stupid enough to work with dems- but ignoring the obvious that Congress has power of the purse- and Obama can't even get ONE vote from dems on his budget---does that scream compromise to you? Obama---> "I want MY WAY!". Bush worked w/ Congress, Obama works w/ Harry Reid to STOP THE VOICES of elected REPRESENTITIVES, then puts on some crappy PHONEY act telling you "it 's Congress's fault" he has to play dictator. Even his own Congressional members complain he doesn't communicate with them! This is the guy who said if we just talk to Iran we can find more things in common. They sent him a model of our Drone back to Obama to mock him. I guess they do like him! (ha ha). But don't bend at all to meet with members of Congress! Face it, he is worse than Bush.

So I guess the line that the tea party used means NOTHING and the FACT that they nearly had us default on alot of payments via my way or the highway means nothing. Uh OK. Got it. Either way I see it as the responsibility of the President to do what is best for the NATION and NOT the party. Did you know that a rumor had it that bush had to call out the FBI to find his VETO stamp after the republicans lost control of Congress. If thats not enough I give you the spending of the bridge to nowhere. The bottom line is this both sides are working for their party and we are just plain stuck. Neither side has the best interest of the Nation in mind and that includes romney. Hopefully Ill die before this nation turns into a 3rd world nation.

Obama voted against the debt ceiling as a Senator (under a Democratic budget)! Again, the man didn't care if HE caused (as you think) Bush to default on our loans. The new republicans voted against it because they were the ones that were voted in! The new group sent by America. Does every woman NEED free birth control NOW? NO! Where's the simple savings of limiting it to only low income! Where is the common sense instead of.politics on the back of our deficit? that rumor thing is dumb and I want to only discuss real issues. Sorry.

Well actually it must also be passed by the Senate also that is why a lot of bills never make it to the Presidents desk due to Harry Reid (who controls the Senate) refusing to vote or even debate a budget, law or anything else from being passed.
