I know that polls are transitory and no matter what they say someone will claim they are biased, but for what it's worth, it seems that most polls are confirming the obvious this time - Joe Biden took Paul Ryan to school last night and not only taught him some economics and a lot of foreign policy, but also a great deal about honesty and about why evading every question and every fact presented to you simply makes you look like a spoiled child.

Poll: Biden takes debate over Ryan, uncommitted voters say
CBS News/ October 11, 2012, 11:32 PM
Fifty percent of uncommitted voters who tuned into Thursday night's vice presidential debate in Danville, Ky., said they see Vice President Joe Biden as the winner over Mitt Romney's GOP running mate Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., according to an instant poll taken by CBS News.
Of the 431 polled immediately following the debate, 31 percent deemed Ryan the winner, and 19 percent said they felt it was a tie. Party-wise it's a switch from last week's presidential debate, which uncommitted voters handed easily to Romney over President Obama.
Both Biden and Ryan gained ground on relatability and knowledge. The percentage of voters who say they believe they can relate to Biden spiked from 34 percent before the debate to 55 percent; 48 percent think Ryan is relatable, up from 31 percent before the debate. Meanwhile, after watching the two candidates debate, 85 percent of those polled think Biden is knowledgeable about the issues; 75 percent say that about Ryan.
Ryan, though, faced a loss among voters' opinions of which candidate would be an effective president, if necessary. Before the debate, he led Biden 45 percent to 39 percent; after the debate, 56 percent of those polled said Biden would be an effective president, with fewer - 49 percent--saying the same about Ryan.
The "uncommitted voters" who participated in this poll are either undecided or have chosen a candidate but say they could still change their minds. They are less likely than voters overall to identify with either of the two major political parties: 58 percent call themselves independents, 17 percent identify as Republicans, and 25 percent say they are Democrats.
This CBS News poll was conducted online using GfK's web-enabled KnowledgePanel, a probability-based panel designed to be representative of the U.S. population. The poll was conducted among a nationwide random sample of 431 uncommitted voters who have agreed to watch the debate. Uncommitted voters are those who don't yet know who they will vote for, or who have chosen a candidate but may still change their minds.
This is a scientifically representative poll of uncommitted voters' reaction to the presidential debate. The margin of sampling error could be plus or minus 5 percentage points for results based on the entire sample.
FOUR MAJOR POLLS SHOWED RYAN WON.
Now Proud skews this, look real close at this one, it's 431 people who had NO CLUE PRIOR TO THE VP DEBATE?
I bet they were about the only ones in America who HAD NO CLUE, normally polls ask 1000 people at a MINIMUM, here? They could not find that many people.
Nice try Proud but YOU JUST LOST like always when I come along.
Love the LWNJ's here in SH and on MSM doing their best to spin this one. You all better spin faster...CNN says Ryan won...and CNN is far more credible than CBS.
both sides had their lies... at least ryan was willing to discuss WHY his plan will work instead of just it does or it will... everytime ryan was making a good discussion on an idea biden just came in and interrupted him like an ass (and yes romney did do some interrupting in his debate but nowhere near the caliber of biden)
what has biden laid out so far?
Americans will laugh when President Romney has obama and biden sent to GITMO to be with their CHILD Molesting muslim terrorist Allies
bidens hate for America/Israel and Western Civilization was exposed
its gonna be funny when Navy Seals are waterboarding bidens Jew Killing Allies
There’s one problem here.
Under current laws, Social Security benefits are NOT guaranteed. Promised, perhaps. But Not guaranteed.
There IS no federal law out there that guarantees Social Security benefits to any American. The payments and how the payments are made can be changed by legislative action at any time. Your Constitutional rights are guaranteed. Your Social Security benefits are not.
Example: The congress could pass legislation next week to raise the eligibility age to 70. If you’re 65 and waiting for your check … well, there goes your guarantee!
Maybe you can live five more years! Now if you owned your own Social Security account – (that means privatization) – those benefits WOULD be guaranteed.
Guarantees come from ownership, not entitlements.

PP, Biden has been in gov't in one form or the other for almost a half century. If he doesn't know the difference between a contractually enforcable guarantee and a politicians "promise" he obviously need to be in the position that he now holds as "one heart beat away from being POTUS!
There are just under 50 million Social Security Trust Fund retiree beneficiaries right now and the system is in deficit spending mode as revenue does not match pay-outs, forcing the TF to cash in the General Fund "IOU" bonds from back when all excess revenue was "loaned" to the Fed's general fund. So right now, the SSTF is 'eating it's seed corn'.
Also consider that there are over 85 million baby boomers that are filing for SSTF benefits at the rate of 10,000 per DAY! Each of those folks similarly have paid into the system their entire working life and are due what was promised to them.
Personally, I would have them adopt a Chilean paradigm for workers under 35y/o and allocate 2/3s of those young worker's "contribution" into their own personal SSTF plan t...

Personally, I would have them adopt a Chilean paradigm for workers under 35y/o and allocate 2/3s of those young worker's "contribution" into their own personal SSTF plan that they OWN, simliar to the way that federal employees now have their Thrift Savings Plan (that was patterned after the Chilean paradigm), I would have the remaining 1/3 of their 'contribution' go to funding the existing ponzi scheme for all of us "old farts" like you and me that are 'soon to be' SSTF beneficiaries.
But that isn't what R/R wants to do as they keep changing their plans every time some ferret squeals like you stomped on it, whenever they claim that someone isn't getting their "fair share" of the soon to be bankrupt trust fund.
Sooo, as you are a cheerleader for Barry's team, what PresBO's solution?
What's his plan?
What's his budget?
Or is his plan mearly a "speech" as Ryan said last night?
I give Biden credit where credit is due, he did a lot better than I expected and that was probably one of the best debate performances Ive seen by him. Although the smirking was a little over the top, I know they all do it but his was a bit excessive.
I believe in this debate, debate experience won and Biden has a lot more experience in that arena.
in the end Americans will laugh as Navy Seals Water Board biden at Gitmo
Do us all a favor and dont pretend to be a tough guy by dragging our elite forces into your drama.
it obama who asked Youtube to Remove a video of a private US Citizen
are you not proud of obama and biden?
To answer your second question....
Why would I be, Im not one of their supporters.
