Well, thinking at it from one side, Prostitution can be looked at as a legitimate paying career/business if done properly and safely and professionally.. That helps stimulate the economy. The liberal nature of homosexuality and accepting different people as they are isn't typical of the Conservative Republican.

Not that I agree with that mentality.

On that note, I personally believe Prostitution should be legal.

But not really, because of hundreds of people get married every year, if not thousands, and you could add to that number. There is also money in divorce, so in all actuality both gay marriage and prostitution would help the state in regards to the economy.

It's probably because prostitution is already legal there. I think that once something becomes the norm / legal, people realize first hand that the Earth continues to spin and they get used to it.
