I would like to say thanks to Cat for starting this group. Again, we need to Get Out and Vote. We need to put out information that is true and comment about it. If we continue at the rate we going for as funding this war or do not find and exit point we going to be in a recession if we not already.
I am a veteran I know about the points of fighting for our country. But, I am very mad that we have military people losing their lives in a war that we as american people was lied to about. Republican can go on and on saying Bush kept us safe. Nall he did kept us safe he might made a deal with Bin Laden to not do anything to americans. I personally think the entire 9-11 terror was an inside scheme to force panic among the people and catch Congress off guard when the war on Iraq was declared under the auspices of 9-11, after the bush administration received credible information on "August 6, 2001" of a potential threat to the United States and which Mr. Bush refused to share with Congress or the American people and that those responsible for deceiving Americans should be held accountable and away from power in Washington.

Income taxes are not a mandate and there is no law that actually states that American's born in this country have to pay them. Income taxes were never ratified by the States which was supposed to be required by the bill that put them in to affect. Shame on you for forgetting what it is to be a journalist. Shame on you for trying to smear and misrepresent a person who truly has the best interest of this country at heart. You are attempting (to coin a phrase) "swift boat" Ron Paul with half truths and mis-statements. As far as Scooter Libby is concerned, he was convicted in a court of law for real crimes and he was sentenced to serve time for those crimes. Bush's commutation of his sentence was as much to protect himself from what Scooter might have said in regards to who really knew about the outing of a CIA operative and the reasons why she was outed. Of course Scott Mc Clellan's new book is about to do that for the whole world to see. I believe that Libby was well aware that incase he was convicted that a pardon or it's equivalent was coming. He knew that as long as he kept his mouth shut and shouldered the responsibility himself that he would never serve a day in jail.
Dr. Paul hasn't hinted about dark forces in the Government he is simply stating the facts that our civil liberties are being eroded away. Spying on American's without a warrant is unconstitutional, fishing thru millions of American's e-mails is unconstitutional. He stands for our constitutional rights above all else and you are trying to juxtapose him with kooks, fascist and anti-semites. It is people like you that are what's wrong with this country. I suppose you are happy with $100 oil prices an economy on the brink of collapse and a national debt towering above 9 trillion dollars.

I just read a curious article from the Washington Times
in which they reported that both Ignacio Ramos, and Jose
Compean just appealed their sentences. I found it curious
because we are in close contact with their families, and
understood that the appeals had been filed back in July!
That prompted me to make a phone call to our contacts on
Capitol Hill who gave us this update on Ramos and Compean.
Last week Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA), sent a letter to
Rep. John Conyers, who serves as the Chairman of the
House Judiciary committee, requesting an official hearing
date for the case.
As you may recall, Johnny Sutton and other key players from
the prosecutorial team were mysteriously absent at the last
hearing. An angry John Conyers said he would subpoena Sutton
and others forcing them to explain themselves and their
behaviors surrounding the case for the next round of hearings.
