its says right in there that is was only the PRESS that was required to show id in order to access the press area (you know back stage and close to the stage... places you would normally not be allowed anyway)...

If you don't want ID for voting then you'd better not be requiring it to get into your meeting. Photo ID was required in a hotel to order a pizza! Requiring all forks and dinner knives to be turned in before 0 would speak at a hispanic gathering recently was, I thought the height of hypocrisy, but now I'm not sure which one is worse.
