"As you may know, there have been
efforts in some states to require voters to show a photo identification card to
vote. Some people say this is needed to prevent people from voting who are not
eligible to vote. Other people say such efforts are designed to suppress voting
by minority voters. What do you think? Do you support or oppose efforts to
require voters to show a photo identification card to vote?"

I'm fine with it. We need photo id to do some of the simplest things. Shouldn't it take at least that much to perform our most important job...voting?

"(P)eople say such efforts are designed to suppress voting by minority voters. "

There are several reasons to call this claim into question. One being the number of things in our daily lives that require the presentation of Photo ID. To claim the HUGE numbers the left claims do not have such ID are thereby divorced from everyday life. We don't hear any complaints about people not being able to buy liquor, cigarettes, cash checks, etc.
Another being the large array of material that is deemed acceptable for proof of identity for voting. And third the fact that states permit an ID to be issued at no cost if to be used for
    the purpose of voting.

So try and explain how proving you are who you say you are with a photo ID is preventing people from voting?

Support - I need ID for my doctor, dentist, liquor store, to cash a check, open an account anywhere, fly on a plane, enter a federal building and would have needed one to enter the DNC convention. Seems to me voting is at least as important as these.

Support! This is just another libetard attempt at beating the system! Minorities should be insulted by the libtards assult on democracy and insinuating they are too stupid or supressed to get ID.

I believe that the only way for our vote to "count" is to have Voter ID.

Oh, yeah, I've heard!! I wonder if this is the same firm that worked on the primaries. I did hear on the radio today that it is emphatically denied that Soros is involved in this firm.
