If there has never been proven to be a problem with voter fraud in the US, why is it that Republicans are spending so much time, effort, energy and money trying to stop something that does not exist. They are going after the elderly and the very young, and the poor, all of whom are more likely to vote for a Democrat that a Republican. They are going to force people to have an ID which costs money and something you have to go out somewhere to get. Many of the poor and elderly don't have a car and rely on someone else for transportation. But they are all legitimate voters... But if they bring an IS and it doesn't match their voter registration to a "T" they are not allowed to vote. A misspelling of a street name, the nick name as an actual name, the wrong zip code. Are these reaons to keep someone from voting? Forcing someone to have an ID is almost as bad as a poll tax which has not been legal for years.

Who said there aren't any "conservative voters"? I know there are and so does everyone else. they represent nearly 50% or the electorate, liberals represent the other 50% or so. Although why someone with little or no money would vote conservative for people who do not represent their best interests is beyond comprehension. Do you really think that Mitt Romney has poor people and the middle class of this country in mind when he says things like cut taxes for the wealthy and cut the social safety net. That is trying to ballance the budget on the backs of the poor to give the wealthy, who don't need any help, a bigger piece of the pie. Do you really think the wealthy deserve any more when 90% of all the profit that grew in the 90s went to the top 1% and the middle class and the poor and making less now than we did 25 years ago. Ever since Reagan, productivity of the worker is up while wages for the worker is down. That is one of the biggest problems of the economy right now. The working class and the poor have no discresionary income so we aren't spending and the wealthy, they can never spend what they make. Corporate profits have never been higher while our wages are stagnant or actually gone down.
