Pelosi is correct in a manner of speaking. It is a removal of a tax decrease. But is is still an increase in the tax rates. And people need to remember that it was the Democrats who forced this expiration date into the tax rate reductions. And as usual the people who will suffer the most are the lower and middle level income earners. Those who are richer can reduce their spending to offset the higher taxes. Those who are not rich do not have that choice and end up suffering. Especially, when they are fired or laid off because a business can not afford to keep them employed.

It is the same result as when Sales Taxes are increased or other taxes such as the special taxes on boats are raised. The workers and lower income earners end up suffering. Back in the 1990s I believe New Jersey (NJ) applied a 10% excise tax on boats that cost over $100,000.00. As a result the boat building industry in NJ was destroyed as people who could afford boats moved to other states to buy boats. Who was hurt? The workers who lost their jobs.

But people like Pelosi don't really care about people. They are really Marxist, Socialist and Communist who believe in State control and "rule by minority". Their actions always speak louder than their words and that is clear when people actually compare actions and words to the results of the words and actions.

Pelosi and the far left democraps don't give a damn about us or this country for as long as they are in power.

Technically, she's correct. The worst level of correctness when I don't agree with the person. And since she works in the Capitol, I don't agree with her. I would only support this if they tied it in with a reinstatement of Pay-Go. I like lower taxes, but I like lower deficits MORE. At least with high taxes, I KNOW how much I'm being screwed over.

You know, so far everything that obama promised us has fallen through and cost more in lost jobs and wages, has helped the rich (hm...didn't he promise not to do what Bush did?),and increased our debt astronomically.
But hey, the guys got to pay for this health bill somehow that just got passed in the House!
