hmm maybe we now know why the FEMA camps were built? under Pelosi's plan- my insurance will be $2740 a year- I currently through my employer pay $1250- so I could drop my insurance and pay $750 FINE- and SAVE $1990 a year- that sounds like a plan. WE ARE ALL SCREWED. NO MATTER WHAT.

"Bunk", no one is going to jail, this is another attempt at "fear mongering" and an insult to our intelligence.

Ever heard of car insurance? Most states REQUIRE that and I'm pretty sure that isn't in the constitution either. Having lived in multiple countries it amazes me that a modern western country like the US can't figure out cost effective health coverage.

Everyone uses the medical system. I don't want to pay for someone who feels like they can slide by with no medical insurance until they show up at the ER and dump the bill on tax payers.

Well lucky you! But you are missing the point that most people do have medical issues with themselves or their children. You and I are paying for these uninsured people no matter how healthy we are. If you're paying taxes you are already paying their medical expenses.

I should not be required to take insurance out on myself!Yes we are paying for these people! That will not change but now you want jail people for not carrying health insurance.

We're also paying for medical expenses of 32,000 people injured in an illegal "war for profit" by the former administration. This whole thing is a joke. We need health care, The Constitution says for the "Common Good" of all the people. I just don't agree with the means by which they're achieving it.
