Paul Ryan is a fake?

If Paul Ryan really has been worried about government spending, then why has he done so much to support it?

Why did he vote yes on NDAA? Why did he beg for TARP's passage? Why did he vote not only for the first stimulus package but the second one as well?

The way you put it, Ryan sounds like an Obama, “yes we can,” supporter as in we need more spending. At least Ryan is trying to implement a budget where No-Budget-Obama has unlimited spending.

I know a lot of humans that didn't beg for TARP to be passed, didn't vote yes for the stimulus, the auto bailouts, the patriot act, etc.

And would you have voted yes for them? Or worse yet, would you have pleaded to have TARP passed?

His budget would explode the deficit ten times over for the American people. He's Just another conservative hypocrit; and probably never had to live on a tight budget, himself.

You mean someone who supports giving our taxpayer money to the big banks and to failed companies through stimulus programs? Or do you mean someone who strips away our freedom through oppressive programs like the Patriot Act and NDAA?

Paul Ryan continued the lies about Romney being for small government and even parroted the lie about him not raising taxes. Also wouldn't you call demanding smaller government while helping to grow government a lie even if it isn't a verbal one?

Do you deny that Ryan voted yes for TARP and the first stimulus program? This is a cold hard fact; no propaganda involved.

Not everyone, but it doesn't matter if so many people did. Just because a bunch of people are doing something stupid doesn't mean that you should; didn't your mother ever tell you that?

    Ryan voted yes on
    TARP
    Stimulus
    The Auto bailouts

Combined with Romney's history it gets even worse. Is that the type of candidate you want to support?

Except these were mistakes spread over the course of years. That is a repeat. Sure, alright if they fell for the TARP scam then maybe. But also the auto bailouts and the stimulus? Really? Come on.

Druggy troll huh? That's interesting. I guess when you run out of arguments you start slinging insults. I don't use drugs aside from the usual culprits--alcohol and tobacco, though I use cigars not cigarettes--so that doesn't really fly.

I like Paul Ryan, I can't second guess his votes, but I will research him on my own. So far in my research, I have found nothing that would cause me not to support him. As for the opposition, I have found nothing to cause me to support them ever.

He voted yes on the 2008 Stimulus: http://www.govtrack.us/congre...

Nothing you found has caused you issue with supporting him you say? Perhaps you should look harder.

I could come up with more big spending from him I'm sure.

We are down to the choice of Obama or Romney. You don't have to agree with me on anything else, but those are the facts. I choose Romney over Obama, how hard is that to comprehend?
  • kir SoCalEx... 2012/08/13 19:17:33
    kir
It's easy to comprehend since I am used to people ignoring the alternatives. We have five presidential candidates yet the two that are scum are the only two that are getting attention. I refuse to vote for a candidate that is going to destroy this country.

Sit and ask yourself if you're willing to vote for someone who supported NDAA, the Patriot Act, the auto bailouts, TARP or the stimulus program. Ask yourself if you're willing to support a Presidential candidate who created the foundation for PPACA with the help of the progressive Ted Kennedy, raised taxes while calling them fees and penalties to avoid "breaking" his promise, used taxpayer money to fund green energy programs, and stated that he supports cap and trade.
