How can Atheists hate god? We do not believe god exists. It is hard to hate something which does not exist. Of course, we do hate what the belief in god or gods does to SOME people and the evil they do because of this belief. I admire the work that Pamela Taylor does and detest the actions of Osama bin Laden, yet they are (were) both Muslims and believe they are serving the same god

How can one hate what one does not believe in? Perhaps some atheists may hate the evil that religion has brought into the world, but that is totally different from hating a mythological being. Kind of like saying someone hates Santa Claus just because they don't believe in him.

Sorry, Pat, but the far-right White Supremacists are almost all fundamentalist Christians. And who's to say the creator God the Sikhs worship is not the right sky daddy? The likelihood is that the religious bigotry that Robertson is expressing toward all who disagree with his favorite fairy tale is exactly what motivated this killing.
