WHAT? That great historian and expert on Paul Revere is not invited?? What is this world coming to ? Next that great ladies' man and authority on Libya, Herman Cain, may not be invited. And what about that great humanitarian who is the GOP authority on gays... Michelle Bachmann? Are they dissing her expertise as well? Please don't tell me Guardasil Rick Perry, who is so concerned about 12 year old girls in his state, may not be there either !!

I wish I thought she was amusing, although listening to her surely is sometimes. Palin is still quite admired by many Americans, but yes, probably a good move by the GOP not to invite her. She will probably show up somewhere else and spout, if she doesn't stay at home pouting.

She should have finished her term as governor before taking on the role as VP. Quitting half way and not being ready for it proves she was the wrong pick.

She still stirs a large majority of the conservative base. Romney is a middle of the
roader who is counting on the dislike for his opponent being all he needs to bring
the base to the polls. If he is elected , he best not burn any bridges.
