Pakistan hid Osama for years. Why in heck should we have told THEM? They support terrorists more than either Afghanistan or Iraq, the creeps.

As for the war against terrorism I have to give props to Obama for continuing the war with less feet on the ground and drone attacks....btw, really surprised me that we can actually keep a secret when we need to....however the latest intel leaks for political purposes I find repellant....I also don't like his inserting himself into the conversation about how such a difficult decision it was.....Harry Truman dropped two nukes on Japan and said it wasn't difficult at all....I liked the way he ended his sentences...."and that's all there is to that"

Who cares what Pakistan thinks. They knew where BinLaden was all that time and did nothing about it, so why should the president have let them in on his plans. They would have gotten BinLaden to safety if he had. They can't be trusted.

the reason why i say no is because of events that happened after the killing of Osama...

Weeks after Pakistan was enraged about us not telling them about the situation of Osama US Intel found a bomb-making facility in Pakistan and told them about it and briefed them on their plans to engage the facility...

24 hours before the raid even began drones picked up activity of the facility being cleared out and by the time the raid began no one or anything in that once was there was gone

this happened about 2-3 other times when they found a terrorist camp or facility and briefed Pakistan of the situation...

regardless of what Pakistan says there is internal compromises to their ISI from Al Qaeda and other groups and recent actions of Pakistan refusing shipping of IED jammers from facilities in Islamabad that WE sent them...

a big generalization of Pakistanis from personal experience and from society is that a lot of them are not to be trusted

There was an incident before the bin Laden operation where the US informed Pakistan that we were going to take out some bad guys at a warehouse. Pakistan let the bad guys know and they got away.

We should have captured Bin alive. What we did was to commit an execution without a trial, and without a jury. This does not bode well for supposedly an administration that is suppose to be run by the rule of law.

As I said I didn't support GW and I sure don't support Obama just killing people. While I believe Obama is better than GW in that he has some brains, I am not at all confident that we are even going after the right people half the time. Assassinating people will do a lot to help make friends. (NOT) It will just make enemies and someday someone will figure out how to strike back.

I was talking about our laws. I don't believe we have the right to just go and assassinate someone.
