Since the beginning of Obama's campaign Oprah has been proud to publicly endorse the Democratic candidate. Oprah Winfrey joined big fundraisers for Barack's journey to the White House. Winfrey describes Barack Obama's presidential win as "One of the greatest moments I could ever even imagine. There are no words to talk about what this means to me.That’s how great it is."
Now, Barack Obama is considering Oprah Winfrey for a cabinet position; do you think this would be a good choice for America?

but then isn't that what most of congress and the cabinet do anyway?
Clearly, professional politicians have brought the nation to the point of dis-integration. And, according to the writings of the republic's founders, the average citizen should be running the country.
So, Oprah, and Joe-the-Plumber should be in government. Their aids or bureaucrats, if you will - every senator and congressman has them - should be the experts, but Oprah-like leaders should be the citizen's representative.
I would vote for an average "Jane/Joe" - no pun intended - over a "professional politician" any day of the year. The average "Joe" will better understand the issues that I face, as opposed to some silver-spoon-in-the-mouth born "elitist" who would govern to preserve the status quo
